With a presence in 15 countries on three continents, the Crane Authentication team understands the regional nuances of the opportunities and challenges facing its customer\nPosition Summary & Objective\nThe Accounts Payable Specialist processes and analyzes accounts payable transactions.\nEssential Functions Performed by the Position\nVerifies and pays invoices or employee expenses, executes check or payment runs, reconciles balances and maintains records.\nSets up and maintains vendors or suppliers in the accounting systems.\nPerform AP account and vendor statement reconciliations.\nAdminister P-Card program and expense review\nEnsures transactions are timely and accurate, and that expenses are accurately coded and allocated.\nPrepares journal entries and reconciles general ledger or bank accounts regularly, monitors cash flow.\nResponds to inquiries from vendors or employees and researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies.\nAssists in year-end or monthly/quarterly accounting procedures.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, SOX/internal controls.\nAssist with audits and 1099 reporting.\nIdentify and drive process improvements.\nPosition Qualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.\nExperience:\n2-4 years of accounts payable or accounts reconciliation experience\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAbility to identify and seek needed information/research skills.\nDetail oriented.\nAccounting skills.\nCrane Authentication is an Equal Employment Opportunity organization.
