The Associate Manager serves as a technical reference for the Digital Services, i.e. automatic inspection and personalisation systems, and highlights any technical Continuous Improvement venues to be explored.\nEssential Functions Performed by the Position:\nIndividual:\nManage the Digital Services Experts as part of the Digital Services Team.\nProvide all resources needs for team members to perform their duties.\nDefine the training plans and skill matrix of the team.\nDefine short-term objective for the team.\nHold regular meetings with the team to review their Personal Development.\nEnsure the team activities the defined KPIs.\nSupport training of shopfloor crews with respect to Vision and Personalisation subjects.\nCommunicate all knowledge and lessons learned across the entire team.\nResponsible for Digital Systems, including, configuration modes, shopfloor operation and data output.\nResponsible for all variant -print information layout files.\nResponsible for the data traceability and interpretation within the digital systems scope.\nSupport the realisation of technical projects that enables the product functions as agreed with the customer.\nSupport the realisation of technical projects that enables the product functions as agreed with the customer.\nSupport the divisional Technical Product team on any requirements and trials in terms of technical functionalities on products and Personalisation processes.\nAssist the Digital Services Manager as required in budgeting and expenditure.\nAssist and support the business in any technical areas of personalisation.\nFollow problem-solving best practices in a LEAN manufacturing environment.\nInteract and collaborate with other department, such as Engineering, IT and NPI, as needed on Digital Services subjects.\nAssist the Quality department with respect to providing and interpreting data for any requirements, such as customer complaints, improvements, traceability, audits etc.\nSupport all audits as required in the department with respect to Personalisation subjects.\nSupport shopfloor in meeting all SLAs OTIF.\nSupport all Authentication process in PA&T, PCID and MO.\nAssist in any acceptance testing of equipment housing Digital Services processes.\nParticipate in daily and weekly department meetings.\nCoach/Train team personnel to introduce new systems/techniques allowing the smooth progression towards an operational excellence team.\nCommunicates in form of report, presentations and other means when required.\nProvides technical documentation for new projects, installations and/or modifications.\nLiaise directly with OEM and generic suppliers.\nGeneration of SOPs and Work Instructions where necessary capturing vital information regarding maintenance interventions.\nFacilitate continuous improvement exercises while promoting team integration and participation.\nTake initiatives to undergo any relevant training courses.\nComplete goals defined at all levels (individual, team, site & corporate).\nOrganize and support in training of new candidates and provide requested information to promote team building.\nDivision:\nSupport the Divisional leadership team, executing the strategy for Authentication in terms of the core MO, GRS, brand protection and PC security propositions.\nProvide subject matter expertise to support effective decision-making provide input as required to the annual strategic planning cycle.\nAttendance of self.\nSupport and follow the governance and operational disciplines applicable across the division.\nEmbrace Crane Business Systems and Shared Values.\nReport and contribute to resolving Safety and Security near miss reports.\nContribute to deliver to customer OTIF, without compromising Quality.\nContribute to maintain OEE at target levels.\nCommon to all roles:\nTo ensure full participation in the performance development review (PDR) process and maintain an up-to-date record of all training and development activities / programs.\nTo always act and behave in a way compliant with all company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to values and behaviours, environmental health and safety, ethics, and codes of conduct, as it is through living our values that we strengthen the culture of our business and demonstrate our understanding of our Shared Values.\nDisclaimer:\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
