In this role, you will design, modernize, an optimize cloud-native solutions for our clients. You will work in an agile, advisory-driven environment, helping organizations leverage AWS to achieve operational excellence, security, scalability, and innovation.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect, design, and implement highly available, scalable, and resilient AWS solutions using Serverless Frameworks, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, and CloudFront.\nLeverage fluency in modern AI tools and services to rapidly develop, validate, and implement Proofs of Concept (POCs) that drive client innovation and operational efficiency.\nLead migration and modernization initiatives, transforming legacy workloads to cloud-native architectures.\nDevelop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, implement automation scripts, and champion DevOps best practices.\nDesign containerized applications and manage orchestration using EKS and ECS.\nEnsure cloud security best practices are embedded across architecture designs, including IAM, VPCs, security groups, and compliance standards.\nImplement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.\nAct as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical leadership and guidance throughout project lifecycles.\nWork within agile teams to deliver client outcomes iteratively and incrementally.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n5+ years of experience in public cloud environments (AWS preferred)\nClient-facing experience, including requirements gathering, solution advisory, and agile delivery practices.\nStrong expertise in AWS Serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, CloudFront).\nHands-on experience with migrations and application modernization.\nProficiency in CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), and automation.\nPractical knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies (EKS, ECS).\nSolid understanding of AWS security, networking fundamentals, and cloud governance.\nStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills in consultancy settings.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (or equivalent certifications).\nBackground in application development or DevOps engineering.\nExperience working in multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP) is a plus.\nFamiliarity with event-driven architectures and microservices design patterns.\nCompensation & Perks\nRetirement Savings Matching Program (RRSP)\nAccess to the latest tech\nPartnership with Perkopolis Discounts\nFlexibility & Time Off\nRemote first work environment\nFlexible work hours & location\nPaid parental leave options\nHealth & Wellness\nEmployer paid health & dental premiums\nGreenShield+ Counselling Mental Health\n$500 in Health Care Spending Account annually\nGrowth & Development\nPeer recognition rewards\nAs an employer, OpsGuru, a Carbon60 Company, recognizes the importance of balancing our careers with other aspects of our lives, and our culture reflects this ethos - from flexible work hours to health and wellness incentives and having fun along the way.
