In this role, you'll assess the Client's current technical environment, team structure, and Cloud operating model, then shape recommendations for a secure, scalable, and sustainable future state.\nThis is a strategic assessment role, not an implementation role. Your work will directly inform executive decisions, so you need to be equally comfortable digging into technical detail and presenting clear, defensible recommendations to senior leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview the client's current technical environment, including infrastructure, applications,\nintegrations, and cloud footprint.\nAssess team structure, roles, governance, and the current operating model.\nEvaluate cloud readiness and identify risks, gaps, and dependencies.\nBenchmark the client's practices against leading cloud operating models and industry\nframeworks (e.g., AWS/Azure/Oracle Cloud Adoption Frameworks, Well-Architected, FinOps, Cloud Centre of Excellence models).\nDevelop recommendations and a roadmap for a secure, scalable, and sustainable future-state cloud operating model.\nProduce executive-ready deliverables (current-state assessment, gap analysis, target operating model, prioritized recommendations) and present findings to senior stakeholders.\nFacilitate stakeholder interviews and workshops across technical and business teams.\nRequired Qualifications\nActive Government of Canada Reliability Status clearance (Must)\n10+ years in technology, with significant experience in Cloud strategy, Cloud transformation, and enterprise architecture (Must).\nProven experience in operating model assessment and design.\nStrong background in Enterprise architecture or technical advisory, ideally in a consulting\ncapacity.\nExtensive experience with Cloud security, governance and compliance\nDemonstrated ability to assess complex technical environments and translate findings into strategic recommendations.\nExcellent communication and executive presentation skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Oracle Cloud (OCI and/or Oracle Fusion SaaS).\nExperience with ERP or HR/Payroll systems in large enterprise or government settings.\nGovernment or public sector transformation experience, ideally with Canadian federal or\nprovincial clients.\nRelevant certifications, such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure/OCI Professional-level architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.\nFamiliarity with Government of Canada cloud guardrails, security frameworks (e.g., ITSG-33), and data residency requirements.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nBy the end of the engagement, the client has a clear, evidence-based view of their current state, an understanding of their key risks and gaps, and a practical, prioritized roadmap toward a target cloud operating model that their executives can act
