If you are driven by excellence, innovation, and the desire to make a positive impact, we eagerly await your application.\nWe are looking for a Field Integration Engineer for the exciting activities in our underwater department.\nYou will become part of our young, enthusiastic, and cross-functional engineering team, working in a dynamic and stimulating international environment and with great growth opportunities.\nWhat will you be doing?\nAs Field Integration Engineer, you bring hands-on electrical and prototyping experience from the field into the application engineering department. You will build, integrate, and test prototype systems, validate them in real offshore conditions, and lead and support field trials and deployments. You will work closely with the projects, sales and business development, and the product management teams, as well as external industrial partners and end-clients.\nWhat is expected of you:\nBuild, integrate, and test prototype hardware and tooling for towed array and seabed node systems, including electrical/mechanical and sensor interfaces\n\nSupport integration engineering: cabling, power and signal chains, system commissioning, and troubleshooting\n\nTake part in trials and deployments to validate procedures and state-of-the-art system prototypes and products\n\nSupport field deployments and naval operations for our Barrier and Array products\n\nDevelop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation in line with relevant offshore standards\n\nSupport offshore deployment planning and execution, including cable laying, anchor design, and seabed interface considerations\n\nSupport technical proposals and customer-facing documentation where structural design is a key differentiator\n\nBeing willing to travel up to 40% of the time.\n\nWhat's in it for you?\nCompetitive salary.\n\nLots of traveling, to anywhere across the globe (10 to 40% traveling time, depending on the workload).\n\nInnovative high-tech, international organization, with lots of growth opportunities.\n\nThe opportunity to work in a cross-functional and interdisciplinary environment.\n\nA lot to learn and to develop. We stimulate personal development.\n\nRequirements\nWhat are we looking for?\nBSc/MSc in Mechanical/Electrical/Naval or marine engineering or similar.\n\n5-10 years of experience in offshore field engineering.\n\nTechnical documentation and drawing skills (SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent CAD)\n\nKnowledge of analog and mixed-signal electronics, cabling and connectors and harnesses, test and measurement tools\n\nYou collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, working with colleagues across engineering, sales, support, and customer organizations, and across different technical and cultural backgrounds.\n\nStructured and independent way of working, affinity with project management.\n\nHave flexibility in traveling abroad.\n\nGood communication skills in English, with an open and social personality.\n\nEligibility to obtain NATO/Dutch security clearance.\n\nExperience with fiber optic systems is a big plus.\n\nYou'll be working with clients in the defense and security sectors, obtaining a Certificate of No Objection issued by the AIVD (Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service) is mandatory.
