You will support the full customer journey: from technical sales discussions and product demonstrations to field testing, system installation, commissioning, training, data analysis, and post-installation support.\nThe ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical engineering, power systems, high-voltage equipment, or condition monitoring, with practical experience or a strong interest in Partial Discharge diagnostics. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that combines field work, application expertise, technical communication, and commercial awareness.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSales Process Support\nSupport sales teams during customer meetings, proposal preparation, product demonstrations, workshops, and technical discussions.\n\nHelp understand customer needs and translate them into suitable technical solutions.\n\nExplain complex technical topics clearly to both technical and commercial audiences.\n\nSupport the preparation of technical content for proposals, presentations, and customer communication.\n\nProject Delivery & Commissioning\nSupport testing and monitoring for high-voltage assets such as transformers, switchgear, cables, and other grid equipment.\n\nPlan and execute customer site visits, field demonstrations, installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of monitoring systems.\n\nPrepare technical reports based on field measurements, monitoring data, or third-party results.\n\nDeliver customer training on theory, measurement principles, system operation, data analysis, reporting, and asset condition assessment.\n\nCollaborate with engineering, product management, operations, logistics, and sales to ensure successful project delivery.\n\nGeneral Support & Continuous Improvement\nContribute to application notes, technical documentation, training materials, case studies, conference papers, and presentations.\n\nProvide structured feedback from field experience to improve products, applications, and customer support processes.\n\nShare application knowledge internally.\n\nWhat's in it for you?\nCompetitive salary.\n\nLots of traveling, to anywhere across the globe (10 to 30% traveling time, depending on the workload).\n\nInnovative high-tech, international organization, with lots of growth opportunities.\n\nThe opportunity to work in a cross-functional and interdisciplinary environment.\n\nA lot to learn and to develop. We stimulate personal development.\n\nRequirements\nWhat we are looking for:\nMaster’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.\n\nTypically, 3-6+ years of experience in electrical systems, applications, testing, diagnostics, or a related technical field.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to investigate technical issues in field and customer-facing environments.\n\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.\n\nCustomer-oriented mindset, professional attitude, and ability to build trust with customers and internal teams.\n\nStrong business ethics, reliable work approach, and professional personal character.\n\nWillingness to travel internationally for customer visits, installations, commissioning, training, and events, typically around 30% of the time.\n\nNice to have:\nFoundational to solid understanding of Partial Discharge theory, measurement techniques, or condition monitoring.\n\nExperience with high-voltage electrical equipment, substations, grid assets, or industrial power systems.\n\nPractical experience with PD testing, PD data interpretation.\n\nExperience with fibre optic sensing, acoustic emission, asset management, condition monitoring, structural health monitoring, non-destructive testing, or predictive
