Founding Engineer

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Infrastructure and Systems:

• Design and scale Kubernetes-native infrastructure.
• Architect and optimize large-scale distributed systems.
• Work on high-scale, production-grade infrastructure environments.
• Contribute to proprietary backend architecture powering the AI/Agent stack.
• Improve system efficiency and reduce deployment costs.
• Push hardware limits through advanced GPU/CPU optimizations.

AI-Native Development:

• Write and ship production code using AI-powered development tools.
• Mandatory hands-on usage of Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf.

Performance and Optimization:

• GPU optimization.
• CPU optimization.
• Performance tuning at infrastructure and backend levels.
• Cost-performance tradeoff improvements at scale.

R& D and Innovation:

• Collaborate on rapid R& D cycles for new AI and computer vision features.
• Experiment with scalable infrastructure for AI model deployment.
• Solve complex infra challenges alongside the CTO.

Requirements:

• Strong background in infrastructure and backend engineering (infra-heavy).
• Experience scaling infrastructure in production environments.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems.
• Kubernetes-native architecture experience.
• Prior startup experience (early-stage preferred).
• Proven experience working on scaled systems.
• Comfortable working in high-ownership, low-structure environments.
