to the Senior Director, Operations, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in ensuring consistency, excellence, and compliance in a way that represents Optima Living’s Mission Vision and Values and North Star, Let us welcome you home, across all communities. \nKey Responsibilities Operational Leadership\nSupport the implementation of standardized operational policies and procedures, Optima programs and initiatives in communities within the region. \nCollaborate with General Managers and community leadership teams to streamline processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency.\nCollaborate with Community of Practice (COP) leaders on their respective functions as well as Finance, HR and Asset Management. \nCommunity Management \nProvide guidance and support to community managers, overseeing the operational performance of each community. \nConduct regular site visits to assess operations, address challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement. \nSupport the sites in the event of a General Manager vacancy and perform other duties as required. \nStaff Development \nCollaborate with community leaders to recruit, train, and retain qualified staff. \nFacilitate initiatives to ensure a consistent standard of service and professional development. \nFinancial Oversight \nSupport the Directors, Operations to monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement effective strategies for revenue generation. \nCompliances and Regulations \nSupport the site leadership teams to ensure that all communities within the region comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. \nCoordinate with community leadership teams to address and resolve compliance issues promptly. \nQualifications & Experience \nMinimum of 5 years industry experience preferably as a General Manager and diploma or degree program in Business Administration, Healthcare, Finance, or related discipline.\nProven experience in the seniors housing industry preferable at a General Manager level. \nIn-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the seniors housing sector. \nStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. \nAbility to analyze complex situations, make decisions, and implement effective solutions.\nDemonstrated experience in budget management and financial analysis. \nValid drivers license and ability to travel.\nCompassionate and empathetic towards the needs of senior residents.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills\nAbility to lead collaboratively in a team-oriented
