The ideal candidate will have a generalist HR background, with payroll to support our team.\nThis is a hands-on role that requires someone who can manage day-to-day HR/Payroll operations while also identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.\nMain Responsibilities:\nManage the end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with Greek labor and payroll legislation.\nManage onboarding and offboarding processes, including all required declarations and submissions in ERGANI II.\nManage and update work schedules, shifts, attendance, overtime, absences, leaves and other payroll-related data.\nCollect, validate and reconcile workforce and payroll data to ensure accurate payroll processing.\nOperate HRM and payroll systems, including Epsilon Net Payroll, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.\nAct as the primary point of contact for assigned clients on Payroll, Workforce Management, HR, Compensation & Benefits and labor-related matters.\nProvide hands-on HR operational support at client premises, including regular on-site visits approximately 1-2 times per week.\nManage employee benefits administration and respond to employee and client payroll/HR inquiries.\nEnsure compliance with Greek labor legislation, ERGANI II requirements and internal HR policies, supporting audits, statutory reporting and regulatory inspections.\nPrepare payroll, workforce and KPI reports and identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting automation.\nCollaborate with the Legal Department on labor law matters and provide clients with appropriate operational support and guidance.\nMaintain strong client relationships through regular communication, proactive issue resolution and continuous service improvement.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field\n3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist role, including payroll processing and workforce management\nExcellent knowledge of ERGANI, EFKA procedures, and payroll regulations\nSolid understanding of current Greek labor and social security legislation\nFamiliarity with Business Payroll software by Epsilon Net\nAbility to handle confidential information and solve problems effectively\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills\nAbility to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail\nAdvanced business writing and oral skills both in Greek and English\nAbility to meet deadlines\nProfessional certification in Microsoft Office (MS Outlook & MS Excel)\nWhat the company offers:\nCompetitive remuneration package\nHealth and Life Insurance Plan\nExcellent career opportunities and learning development\nModern and friendly working environment. \nWorking within an outstanding Team of experts in a dynamic and fast-growing organization. \nAbout Optimal\nSince 2005, Optimal has provided unparalleled, bespoke HR services to large organizations and SMEs operating in the EMEA region.
