This allows us to adapt with our customers and partners as needs evolve, leveraging our footprint to remain at your side while providing a highly personalized level of service and support no matter where you find yourself around the globe. #LI-onsite\nOur Valuesare theTHREADthat connects us as one team to ensure that we are accountable for our contributions to the success of our company and customers:\nTeamwork\nHonesty\nRespect\nExcellence\nAccountability\nDrive\nTo learn more, please visit our website http://www.optimas.com\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking for a motivated, accomplished,determined Business Development Managerwho will be responsible offurtherdeveloping theUSmarket according to the company’s business strategies.\nThis position reports to the Senior Directorof Business Development, making a significantcontribution to our dynamic globalorganization. #LI-Onsite\nRoles and Responsibilities\nThe Business Development Managerwill be responsible for:\nDevelop potential key automotive and industrial accounts and to achieve target business plansfor Revenue and Margin.\nPromote and sell Optimas’ total value proposition (products, manufacturing, engineering & logistics).\nBuild strategic good relationships with all related functions internally and externally for projects realization and acceleration.\nBe aware of market change and competitors activities and report periodically.\nMake sales presentations and solicit RFQs in time.\nWork closely with the global Business Development Teams and Program Managers /Key Account Managers.\nWork with the Senior Director of Business Development to construct and negotiate LTA’s that achieve Optimas objectives.\nPresent sales/key customer report monthly.\nCreate and realize business development plan and sales/market forecast.\nCollaborate with Program Managers to identify underperforming accounts and develop a strategy to attain new business within those accounts.\nWork with internal departments to create proposals that will win new business while attaining profitability and EBITDA objectives.\nSuccessfully hand off the accounts to a Program Manager/Inside Sales person.\nOther duties and responsibilities.\nKey Competencies\nThe ideal candidate shouldhave the following competencies:\nSales Success Track Record\nFastener Industry Knowledge\nStrategic Vision\nExcellent Communication and Presentation Skills \nBuilding organizational capacity\nResults driven\nEmbrace change\nCollaboration and Influence\nEntrepreneurial spirit\nCustomer value and Market focus\nSkills and Qualifications\nB.S. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant academic background.\nOver 5 years of experience, and experience in the fastener or C class components industry and in a multinational company is preferred.\nExperience in project management and reporting in complex multidisciplinary projects.\nProject management skills and experience in implementing projects within decentralized organizations.\nHave high degree of integrity, ethics, motivation, energy and enthusiasm.\nStrong interpersonal skills, communication and negotiation skills.\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills.\nThe salary is commensurate with experience.
