This allows us to adapt with our customers and partners as needs evolve, leveraging our footprint to remain at your side while providing a highly personalized level of service and support no matter where you find yourself around the globe.\nOur Valuesare the THREADthat connects us as one team to ensure that we are accountable for our contributions to the success of our company and customers:\nTeamwork\nHonesty\nRespect\nExcellence\nAccountability\nDrive\nTo learn more, please visit our website http://www.optimas.com\nPosition Overview\nWe are looking for driven, capable Warehouse Associates to support our company’s warehouse operations including Shipping, Receiving, Packing, etc.\nYou will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and you will perform various warehouse activities.\nIf you are looking for a fast-pacedenvironment with lots of opportunity for personal and career growth,then this is the ideal place for you!\nMain Responsibilities\nAs a Warehouse Associate, you may be responsible for the following activities in accordance with your role:\nUnloading of goods delivered.\nCheck that goods advised match goods rec’d, check PO for qty’s and due date.\nBook onto the system, batch each box as required, pass samples and paperwork to Inspection.\nPut goods away to picking or pallet locations or transfer to boxing or subcontract operations.\nRepackaging of bulk product into smaller quantities to comply with the companies or customer requirements.\nFill boxing machine hoppers as necessary (waste management).\nMove boxed goods to designated storage locations.\nProduce dispatch notes, picking lists and labels, as necessary.\nResolve discrepancies noted when picking.\nAdvise line manager of potential stock issues.\nConfirm items picked correspond to the items described on the note.\nPack items to ensure they remain secure and undamaged to their destination.\nArrange for the issue of certification as detailed on the picking note.\nLoad goods for dispatch onto transport within deadlines.\nOperate various warehouse equipment to reach high locations.\nAble to use current ERP system.\nPrint labels using handheld/physical printer (batch number).\nParticipate in cleaning equipment and facility.\nUse mobile scanner/tablet device to receive/picking inventory.\nOther duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.\nKey Competencies\nThe ideal candidate must have the following competencies:\nCustomer Service.\nSelf-driven, independent, good time management skills.\nResults focused.\nCommunication Skills.\nDecision Making.\nWorking as part of a team.\nProblem solving.\nAbility to use computer programs.\nDetail Oriented.\nGood Multi-tasker.\nSkills and Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n2-5 years relevant experience required;fast-paced, high-volumewarehouse/distribution centersetting preferred.\nAbility to read, understand and maintain records as required.\nAbility to handle multiple priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment.\nAbility to liftto 50 lbs.\nForklift experience preferred/will train.\nGood basic math skills.\nBasic computer skills required;MS (Outlook, Teams, Excel) experience preferred.\nCompensation\nAt Optimaswe believe in having a competitive compensation scheme to motivate and retain our employees.
