We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to impactful projects.\nJob Summary and Essential Job Duties:\nThe Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) technician will be trained to run CMM using Calypso software or other CMM software in addition to being taught GD&T principles.\nThrough On the Job Training (OJT), the Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) Technician will:\nPerform CMM measurements to established standards\nResponsible for the quality of their work \nMaintain cleanliness in work areas\nPerform routine CMM instrument maintenance where applicable\nWork with other team members to communicate non-conformances.\nActively contributes to process optimization by proposing enhancements within the CMM department\nHelp trouble shoot measurement discrepancies with CMM team lead and or project manager\nManage downtime between measurements to support production\nAdvancement through the ranks is attained via increasing levels of education, experience, industrial skills, math skills, computing skills, responsibility and leadership potential and effectiveness.\nEducation Requirements:\nA High School Diploma or GED required. No prior experience is required \nMinimum Requirements:\nAbility to work in a challenging, fast paced environment with good time management skills\nGood mental dexterity and decision making\nExcellent communication skills\nAnalytical troubleshooting / problem solving \nFamiliar with shop math skills, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, fractions, ratios, decimal arithmetic and percentages \nCapable of learning/understanding blueprints and drawings for both mechanical and optical standards\nOther Skills and Experience:\nCoordinate, and prioritize measurements between departments \nAssist with process improvements, particularly concerning CMM measurement efficiency and data integrity, proactively identifying and suggesting changes to measurement and calibration processes\nDocument CMM operating procedures \nWork Requirements:\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch: and talk and hear.\nThe job may involve prolong periods of sitting/standing.\nSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. \nRequires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.\nWork Environment:\nThis position works in a manufacturing environment.
