Type: Full-Time, Permanent\nParking on site.\nAbout the role:\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Import Export Administrator to join a busy and established freight forwarding company based in Redhill.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with experience in freight forwarding, international shipping and customs procedures to join a fast-paced logistics environment.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating import and export shipments, managing shipping documentation and liaising with customers, carriers and overseas agents to ensure freight movements are handled efficiently and professionally.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCoordinate import and export shipments via air, sea and road freight, as required.\nPrepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, airway bills, commercial invoices and packing lists.\nLiaise with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, overseas agents and customers to arrange freight movements.\nManage shipment bookings, monitor progress and provide customers with regular updates.\nAssist with customs clearance procedures and ensure documentation complies with UK and international regulations.\nWork closely with customs brokers and agents to ensure shipments are cleared efficiently.\nObtain freight quotations, confirm bookings and coordinate collections and deliveries.\nMaintain accurate shipment records and update internal freight management systems.\nResolve shipment queries, delays and documentation discrepancies promptly.\nProvide a high standard of customer service, ensuring all enquiries are handled professionally.\nSupport the wider operations team with day-to-day freight forwarding administration.\nSkills & Experience Required:\nPrevious experience in freight forwarding, import/export administration or international logistics.\nGood understanding of import and export shipping procedures and documentation.\nKnowledge of customs clearance processes, Incoterms and international freight regulations.\nExperience liaising with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers and overseas agents.\nStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.\nConfident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and freight management systems.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\nAbility to manage multiple shipments and
