This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys moving fast, solving real problems, and working closely with founders to turn ideas into scalable products.\nAs a Founding Engineer, you will take ownership across product development, architecture, infrastructure, and engineering execution. You will play a critical role in shaping both the technical direction and the future of the company.\n\nThe first 2 weeks will serve as a performance evaluation period, where the Founding Engineer will work hands-on and in person with the team. During this time, we will closely assess execution speed, technical capability, communication, ownership, and alignment with the team and company goals.\n\nWhat you'll do \n\nBuild and ship core product features across web, backend and mobile platforms\nDesign, develop, and maintain frontend and backend systems\nWork across our stack, including:\nNext.js (typescript) for web applications\nNestJS (typescript) for backend services and APIs\nExpo / React Native (typescript) for mobile apps\nPostgreSQL for data storage and modeling\nRust for performance-critical or specialized components where needed\nGo for network engineering\nCollaborate directly with founders and team members on product strategy, user experience, and technical roadmap\nOwn architecture decisions and help establish scalable engineering patterns\nImprove application performance, reliability, and security\nBuild internal tools, integrations, and automation to support product growth\nHelp define engineering best practices, code quality standards, and deployment workflows\nContribute to hiring and shaping the future engineering team as the company grows\n\nWhat we're looking for \n\n3+ Years experience as a full-stack engineer in fast-paced product environments\nPrimary Languages to know Typescript\nSolid hands-on experience with Next.js, React, Node.js, and NestJS\nExperience building mobile apps using React Native / Expo\nGood understanding of PostgreSQL, database design, and API development\nFamiliarity with Rust or willingness to work with it for selected use cases\nAbility to take ownership of features from idea to production\nComfortable working in ambiguity and making pragmatic engineering decisions\nStrong product mindset with attention to user experience and business impact\nStartup mentality: resourceful, adaptable, and execution-focused\nWillingness to work in person for the first 2 weeks as part of onboarding and team collaboration\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\n\nNice to Have\nExperience as an early engineer or founding engineer at a startup\nExperience designing scalable backend systems and cloud infrastructure\nFamiliarity with DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and production operations\nExperience with real-time systems, offline-first mobile apps, or performance optimization\nInterest in
