We provide liquidity to financial markets using our own capital, at our own risk, trading a wide range of products: listed derivatives, cash equities, ETFs, bonds and foreign currencies. \nWhat you’ll do \nWe are seeking a hands-on Information Security Operations Lead who combines deep security knowledge with strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities. You will guide the team through operational challenges, foster their development, and ensure the ongoing integrity of Optiver’s security operations. \nReporting directly to the Global Head of Information Security this role will work in conjunction with the other regional security leads with your focus extending beyond individual technical execution-you will help shape the team’s roadmap, coach engineers through complex challenges, and drive alignment with global security objectives. \n Main responsibilities include: \nBuild and lead a high-performance security engineers and analysts, including managing performance, career development and delivery. \nOversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring efficient triage, investigation, escalation, and resolution of security events \nContinuously refine operational processes and partner with global security teams to drive alignment in processes, standards, and tooling. \nLead the team during high-severity incidents, coordinating efforts across engineering, business, and global stakeholders. \nWork with engineers to identify automation opportunities, reduce toil, and improve detection and response capabilities. \nAct as the primary point of contact for operational security topics within APAC and build strong partnerships with all stakeholders. \nContribute to the long-term strategy and roadmap for global security operations. \nWho you are \nOptiver needs our next APAC Information Security Operations Lead to have: \nLeading or mentoring security engineers, SOC analysts, incident responders, or security operations teams. \nBroad experience with EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, identity security, and cloud security tooling. \nExperience defining and maturing operational processes: alerting, triage, incident response, playbooks, tooling, and escalation workflows. \nUnderstanding of SOC workflows, detection tuning/engineering, playbook development, and operational runbooks. \nExperience leading or coordinating incident response efforts across cross-functional teams. \nDemonstrated experience building high-performing, collaborative teams in fast-paced environments. \nChampioning a culture of continuous improvement, and operational excellence. \nCloud security (AWS + M365), identity management (Entra ID, SSO, conditional access), and data protection desirable. \nAutomation with Python or PowerShell desirable. \nWhat you’ll get \nYou’ll join a culture of collaboration and excellence, where you’ll be surrounded by curious thinkers and creative problem solvers.
