Established in 1996, we're an active participant on the Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan exchanges, and act as Optiver’s APAChead office. \nWhat You’ll Do\nThis team ensures that data is reliable, accurate and available when it’s needed. You’ll sit at the intersection of data engineering, operations and market data, monitoring critical pipelines, improving system resilience and building automation to detect and prevent issues before they impact trading or research.\nYou’ll play a key role in shaping how we ingest and deliver trusted, high-quality data at scale, supporting a growing, data-driven global business. In this role, you will:\nMonitor and optimize the performance and stability of data pipelines to meet SLAs.\n\nDesign and maintain data quality tests for accuracy, consistency and completeness.\n\nInvestigate data incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.\n\nApply SRE principles to enhance reliability, alerting and recovery mechanisms.\n\nDevelop automation and tooling to reduce manual intervention and improve scalability.\n\nCollaborate with data engineers, researchers and market data teams to align reliability goals with business priorities.\n\nWho You Are\n2+ years of experience in data engineering, site reliability engineering (SRE) or data operations.\n\nProficient in SQL, ETL processes and at least one programming language (Python, Scala or C++).\n\nStrong focus on automation, system resilience and continuous improvement.\n\nPassionate about data quality, observability and performance optimization.\n\nStructured and methodical in problem-solving, with strong debugging skills.\n\nExcellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience with Databricks, data observability platforms or distributed/cloud-based data systems.\n\nFamiliarity with alerting and monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Airflow or similar).\n\nExposure to financial data pipelines or low-latency trading environments.\n\nWhat You’ll Get\nYou’ll join a culture of collaboration and excellence, where you’ll be surrounded by curious thinkers and creative problem solvers.
