You will support sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, contract renewals and procurement operations while also helping us identify and implement improvements to our processes. \n\nWhat you'll do \nSourcing & negotiation \nSupport sourcing initiatives across a range of non-technology categories, working with stakeholders to understand their requirements and identify appropriate suppliers and commercial solutions \nNegotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers \nEnsure that contracts meet our internal policies, risk standards and market benchmarks \nManage contract renewals for expiring agreements, engaging stakeholders and suppliers proactively to ensure continuity and favourable outcomes \nProcurement operations \nCoordinate purchase orders and cost approvals in Coupa, making sure requests are handled accurately and on time \nBe the go-to person for procurement questions: guide stakeholders through our processes and train them where needed \nKeep procurement data and records accurate across our systems \nIdentify inefficiencies, gaps and opportunities to simplify or improve existing procurement processes \n\nWhat you'll bring\nAround 2-3 years' experience in procurement, sourcing or a commercial role \nA bachelor's degree in business, economics, supply chain management or a related field \nUnderstanding of procurement processes such as sourcing, purchase orders, supplier management and contract renewals \nStrong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with teams across the business \nConfidence in negotiating with suppliers on pricing, commercial terms and contract renewals \nA growth mindset with the ability to challenge existing processes and identify improvement opportunities \nSolid organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle shifting priorities\n\nWho we are\nAt Optiver, our mission is to constantly improve the market by injecting liquidity, providing accurate pricing, increasing transparency and acting as a stabilizing force no matter the market conditions.
