Having a decisive nature and problem-solving mindset are essential to succeeding in this role. \nYou will be supporting multiple globally oriented automated trading strategies and have the following responsibilities:\nSupervise and monitor our automated trading systems in various markets that we trade in\nAssess live trading for any issues (e.g. risk, compliance, production issues) and quickly respond to unusual behaviours or market conditions.\nWorking closely with risk managers and trading teams to alert key staff of any intraday trading issues and collaborating with Optiver's engineers, brokers, and exchanges to resolve problems in real time.\nDocumenting procedures and logging production issues as they occur.\nWHO YOU ARE:\nAt least 5 years’ experience in a Trade Supervision, Trading, Risk, Application Engineering, or similar role.\nPrior trading exposure across asset classes and strategies highly desirable\nAn understanding of exchange-specific rules and procedures\nExtremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.\nExcellent communication, project management and time management skills \nSolid experience with high-frequency automated trading strategies will be preferred.\nExperience with Python, Linux command line and the ability to extract and manipulate large data sets will be preferred.\nFull Singapore working rights essential.\nWHAT YOU’LL GET:\nYou’ll join a culture of collaboration and excellence, where you’ll be surrounded by curious thinkers and creative problem solvers.
