The project is delivered together with a large international IT services company. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.\nYou will administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments running on Windows Server, automate routine tasks with PowerShell and take part in the support rota for business-critical banking systems.\nKey Details:\nRate: 115-160 PLN/h (B2B), depending on experience: 5-8 years: 115-140 PLN/h; 8-10 years: 135-160 PLN/h\n\nWork Model: Hybrid, 3 days per week from the client's office (non-negotiable), full-time\n\nLocation: Wrocław (candidates must live in or near Wrocław)\n\nSupport rota: readiness to take part in on-call duties and weekend work is required\n\nResponsibilities:\nAdminister, maintain and monitor Microsoft SQL Server 2016+ environments\n\nManage Windows Server hosts supporting the database platform\n\nAutomate routine DBA tasks with PowerShell scripting\n\nInvestigate and resolve database incidents and performance problems\n\nTake part in the support rota, including on-call duties and weekend work\n\nRequirements:\n5-10 years of relevant experience as a SQL Server DBA\n\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2016+\n\nWindows Server administration\n\nPowerShell scripting\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills\n\nReadiness to work on a support rota and at weekends\n\nFluent English\n\nPolish or EU citizenship, or a permanent residence / work permit valid for at least 12 months\n\nRecruitment Process:\nOne interview with the IT services partner, followed by 1-3 interviews with the bank\n\nTechnical tasks are done live: please have your environment set up and tested beforehand.
