The project is delivered together with a large international IT services company. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.\nYou will take responsibility for automation, deployment processes and cloud infrastructure on Azure, while being able to understand, analyse and work with Java code when needed, across both modern frameworks and legacy systems.\nKey Details:\nRate: 130-160 PLN/h (B2B), depending on experience\n\nWork Model: Hybrid, 3 days per week from the client's office (non-negotiable), full-time\n\nLocation: Kraków (candidates must live in or within commuting distance of Kraków)\n\nStart: December 2026\n\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for smooth and reliable deployments to Azure\n\nAutomate application deployment, monitoring and scaling across Azure services, including App Services, Azure SQL, Kubernetes and Docker\n\nAdminister and optimise workloads in Unix/Linux environments, using Shell/Bash scripting to streamline operations\n\nCreate and maintain Python-based scripts and tools to automate DevOps workflows\n\nInvestigate technical issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes across development and production environments\n\nMaintain system stability, optimise performance and uphold security standards\n\nContribute to code reviews and share knowledge to improve engineering practices\n\nRequirements:\nAt least 10 years of experience in IT, including 5+ years in DevOps, SRE or a related role\n\nHands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment and monitoring\n\nStrong understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD, automation and Infrastructure as Code\n\nHands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM or Bicep\n\nProficiency with Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling\n\nExperience with Unix/Linux systems and Shell/Bash scripting\n\nGood knowledge of Python for automation and tooling\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills, including debugging distributed systems\n\nProficiency with Git and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins\n\nProficiency in Java (8/11/17)\n\nFluent English\n\nPolish or EU citizenship, or a permanent residence / work permit valid for at least 12 months\n\nNice to Have:\nConfiguration management tools such as Ansible\n\nMonitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Azure Monitor\n\nRecruitment Process:\nTechnical tasks are done live: please have your environment, tools and language/framework versions set up and tested beforehand.
