The project is delivered together with a large international IT services company. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.\nYou will build and run high-performance, messaging-based Java applications on Azure, covering both development and the DevOps side: containerisation, Kubernetes (AKS), Helm and Terraform.\nKey Details:\nRate: 115-160 PLN/h (B2B), depending on experience: 5-8 years: 115-140 PLN/h; 8-10 years: 135-160 PLN/h\n\nWork Model: Hybrid, 3 days per week from the client's office (non-negotiable), full-time\n\nLocation: Kraków (candidates must live in or near Kraków) Responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain Java (Spring Boot) applications for high-performance messaging systems\n\nBuild and integrate messaging solutions using Kafka and RabbitMQ\n\nContainerise applications and deploy them to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) with Helm\n\nManage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform\n\nWork with SQL and PostgreSQL databases and in-memory data grids (Apache Ignite, Hazelcast)\n\nTune application performance and troubleshoot issues across environments\n\nRequirements:\n5-10 years of relevant experience\n\nJava with Spring Boot and Spring Security\n\nDevOps skills: containerisation, Helm, Azure, AKS and Terraform\n\nMessaging with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ\n\nSQL and PostgreSQL; Apache Ignite or Hazelcast\n\nExperience with high-performance messaging applications and performance tuning\n\nFluent English (technical and business)\n\nPolish or EU citizenship, or a permanent residence / work permit valid for at least 12 months\n\nRecruitment Process:\nOne interview with the IT services partner, followed by 1-3 interviews with the bank\n\nTechnical tasks are done live: please have your development environment, tools and language/framework versions set up and tested beforehand.
