You will work end to end on data engineering in a modern cloud architecture: managing master data (MDM) data products, optimising data flows and driving the move from legacy solutions (SSIS, MS SQL Server BI) to cloud-native platforms on Azure and Databricks. The focus is on the full data product lifecycle, from design and ingestion to delivering high-quality master data for analytics and downstream consumers. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.\nKey Details:\nRate: up to 160 PLN/h net (B2B)\n\nWork Model: hybrid, 3 days per week from the office, full-time (40 h/week)\n\nLocation: Wrocław\n\nOpenings: 3\n\nResponsibilities:\nCo-driving solution design with Business Analysts: target architectures, data models, flows and integration patterns that are cloud-native, scalable and secure\n\nHandling data ingestion, cleansing, standardisation, transformation and API provisioning from source systems (e.g. customer and product master data)\n\nOptimising existing ETL/ELT flows, building infrastructure for extraction and loading from diverse sources, and modernising legacy solutions\n\nAssessing feasibility, risks and dependencies; preparing implementation-ready designs, documentation, diagrams and CI/CD automation\n\nWorking with stakeholders, data stewards, architects and teams to deliver non-functional requirements such as quality, security and stability\n\nEvaluating and improving analytics solutions, integrating systems and explaining technical topics to business audiences\n\nRequirements:\nStrong end-to-end experience with analytics platforms, data products, data warehouses (star schema, Data Vault, multidimensional, tabular) and modern data architectures\n\nExpert knowledge of SQL/T-SQL, Python, Apache Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake and Azure Data Factory\n\nExperience with batch, incremental, CDC and event-driven data patterns\n\nLogical and physical data modelling\n\nETL/ELT design, including high-performing SSIS packages and script components in C#\n\nAPI development and maintenance\n\nCloud-native experience on Azure and legacy modernisation (SSIS to cloud), including technology trade-offs for storage and processing\n\nAgile ways of working and experience with Jira (JQL) and Confluence\n\nProactive, self-starting approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ambition to grow towards a Data/Analytics Architect role\n\nClear documentation and business communication in English\n\nWillingness to provide a
