For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.\nYou will work as a Full Stack Java Developer within the Cards Service Domain, developing, maintaining and continuously improving internet-facing Commercial Cards applications, with a strong focus on availability, performance and security. The client is looking for long-term cooperation.\nKey Details:\nRate: up to 140 PLN/h net + VAT (B2B)\n\nWork Model: Hybrid - min. 60% office presence\n\nLocation: Gdańsk or Warsaw\n\nKey Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, Microservices\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesigning, developing, testing and maintaining applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, SQL, Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nDeveloping and enhancing microservices-based solutions following clean code principles and best practices.\n\nBuilding and maintaining REST APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.\n\nIdentifying and remediating security vulnerabilities found through SAST, container and dependency scanning, penetration testing and other assessments.\n\nDriving secure coding practices and improving the security posture of internet-facing applications.\n\nAnalysing, troubleshooting and resolving defects, incidents and production issues.\n\nSupporting CI/CD processes with Git, Bitbucket and Jenkins.\n\nOptimising application performance, scalability, resilience and maintainability.\n\nCollaborating with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists and Operations teams, and taking part in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.\n\nCreating and maintaining technical documentation, including solution designs and operational guidelines.\n\nUsing AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot, and contributing to the adoption of AI agents and intelligent automation in the Cards domain.\n\nRequirements:\n5+ years of experience in Full Stack Java development, including testing your own changes.\n\nStrong skills in Java, Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs.\n\nAngular and Angular Material.\n\nKafka and SQL databases.\n\nDocker, Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and CI/CD.\n\nExperience resolving SAST, container scan and other security vulnerabilities.\n\nKnowledge of secure coding and OWASP principles.\n\nAgile/Scrum way of working.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n\nBasic knowledge of AI tools, or willingness to explore them.\n\nFluent English.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience in the banking, cards or payments domain.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms.\n\nDevSecOps and vulnerability management experience.\n\nPerformance tuning and application monitoring.\n\nTechnical mentoring and coaching
