Currently, we are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join the team of our client-a dynamic and forward-thinking company operating in the financial sector, specifically within the Cards Technology domain.\nIn this role, you will be part of an agile environment dedicated to providing the financial solutions of tomorrow, with plenty of room for experimentation, growth, and sharing your unique ideas.\nKey Details:\nRate: Up to 140 PLN/h\n\nWork model: Hybrid (3 days a week from the office)\n\nLocation: Warsaw, Gdańsk, or Gdynia\n\nContracting party: Optiveum (we sign the cooperation agreement with you)\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesigning, developing, and maintaining Java applications that support core business services.\n\nCollaborating closely within an Agile team and ART (Agile Release Train).\n\nWorking with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.\n\nTroubleshooting and resolving issues in existing applications.\n\nOptimizing application performance and ensuring the highest standards of code quality.\n\nCreating technical documentation for developed functionalities.\n\nMust-have Requirements:\nMinimum 5 years of commercial experience in Java Software Development.\n\nSolid, hands-on experience with Java (8+), Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and SQL.\n\nPractical knowledge of microservices architecture, clean code principles, and continuous integration.\n\nGood understanding of REST API design.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Jenkins).\n\nProven experience working in Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in both Polish and English.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience in C++ development.\n\nHands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) is a significant advantage.\n\nFamiliarity with test automation concepts, tools, and best practices.\n\nKnowledge of Kafka and/or Spring WebFlux.\n\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nFront-end development experience with JavaScript, Angular, or React.\n\nPrevious experience in the financial industry.\n\nCooperation with Optiveum:\nPlease note that Optiveum acts as the official recruitment and contracting party for this role.
