For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.\nYou will design and build event-driven Java / Spring Boot microservices running on AKS, backed by Azure Database for PostgreSQL and integrated through Kafka and Azure Service Bus.\nKey Details:\nRate: 133-158 PLN/h (B2B), depending on experience: 10-12 years of relevant experience 133-149 PLN/h, 12+ years 149-158 PLN/h\n\nWork Model: Hybrid, 3 days per week from the client's office in Wrocław (non-negotiable), full-time\n\nLocation: Wrocław (candidates must live in or within commuting distance of Wrocław)\n\nStart: December 2026\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop Java / Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs\n\nBuild event-driven integrations using Kafka and Azure Service Bus\n\nDesign, optimise and maintain PostgreSQL databases in production, including Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Flexible Server\n\nManage database schema changes and migrations with Liquibase as part of CI/CD pipelines\n\nDeploy and run services on AKS / Kubernetes\n\nEnsure observability, monitoring and troubleshooting of distributed systems using Azure Monitor and related tooling\n\nHandle secrets and configuration securely with Azure Key Vault\n\nRequirements:\nAt least 10 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot, including microservices and REST APIs\n\nExtensive hands-on PostgreSQL experience in production environments\n\nExperience with Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Flexible Server\n\nExperience with AKS / Kubernetes\n\nHands-on experience with Azure Service Bus and Kafka\n\nStrong knowledge of event-driven architecture and distributed systems\n\nExperience with Liquibase and database migrations integrated with CI/CD\n\nGood knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Monitor and Key Vault\n\nExperience with observability, troubleshooting and Linux-based environments\n\nFluent English\n\nPolish or EU citizenship, or a permanent residence / work permit valid for at least 12 months\n\nNice to Have:\nDDD (Domain-Driven Design) and CQRS\n\nRedis and NoSQL (e.g. Oracle NoSQL)\n\nRecruitment Process:\nTechnical tasks are done live: please have your programming environment set up, tested and ready beforehand, with all required tools and the relevant language / framework versions.
