You will support the development and maintenance of automated tests for Master Data Management solutions, with a strong focus on SOAP and REST API testing, database testing, integration testing and automation of backend and data distribution processes. You will also help define and evolve the automation strategy, design scalable and maintainable test frameworks, and introduce AI-assisted solutions to increase test coverage and reduce manual effort. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.\nKey Details:\nRate: up to 125 PLN/h net (B2B)\n\nWork Model: hybrid, 3 days per week from the office, full-time (40 h/week)\n\nLocation: Gdańsk, Gdynia or Warsaw\n\nOpenings: 3\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesigning and implementing automated tests for APIs, integration processes and data flows\n\nDeveloping and maintaining existing test automation frameworks\n\nCreating regression tests and integrating them with CI/CD processes\n\nSupporting the implementation of an “Automation First” approach\n\nCooperating with developers, analysts, Product Owners and other MDM ART teams\n\nSupporting automation of both new features and existing products\n\nAnalysing test results and preparing test evidence\n\nUsing AI and GitHub Copilot to improve test automation efficiency\n\nMentoring less experienced team members in test automation\n\nRequirements:\n6+ years of experience in automated software testing, preferably in complex enterprise environments\n\nStrong understanding of QA methodology: test planning, design and execution, defect management, regression testing and continuous quality improvement\n\nHands-on test automation development in Java 17+, with strong OOP knowledge, Clean Code principles and POJO-based design patterns\n\nStrong practical experience with RESTAssured, JUnit 5 and Lombok\n\nSolid understanding of REST architecture (resources, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON/XML payloads) and SOAP/WSDL contracts\n\nHands-on API testing of REST and SOAP services, integration flows, backend services and data distribution processes\n\nExperience with Allure reporting, including request/response evidence and failure categorisation\n\nGood SQL skills and experience in database testing and data validation\n\nExperience testing integration solutions: asynchronous flows, Kafka -based integrations, data pipelines and event-driven architecture\n\nPractical experience with qTest and Jira\n\nStrong Git skills: branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based), pull requests, code reviews and conflict resolution\n\nHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins and/or Bamboo\n\nGood understanding of Agile ways of working and Scrum ceremonies\n\nExperience preparing test evidence, automation reporting and test coverage documentation\n\nAbility to mentor less experienced team members\n\nProactive mindset and the ability to work in a cross-functional team\n\nExcellent
