The project is delivered together with a large international IT services company. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.\nWe are looking for experienced engineers who are proactive, excel at problem-solving and are confident in taking initiative and proposing effective solutions. You will build Java / Spring Boot microservices deployed with Docker and Kubernetes on Azure.\nKey Details:\nRate: 135-160 PLN/h (B2B) for around 10 years of experience; for candidates with significantly more experience the rate is negotiable individually\n\nWork Model: Hybrid, 3 days per week from the client's office (non-negotiable), full-time\n\nLocation: Kraków (candidates must live in or near Kraków)\n\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop backend services in Java and Spring Boot\n\nBuild and maintain microservices\n\nWork with PostgreSQL, Oracle or Sybase databases\n\nDeploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes\n\nSupport Azure-based solutions\n\nOperate in Unix/Linux environments\n\nCollaborate with development teams on project delivery\n\nRequirements:\n10-15+ years of experience with Java\n\nStrong experience with Core Java and Spring Boot\n\nExperience with microservices\n\nKnowledge of PostgreSQL or Oracle databases\n\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes\n\nExperience with Azure\n\nKnowledge of Unix/Linux environments\n\nFluent English\n\nPolish or EU citizenship, or a permanent residence / work permit valid for at least 12 months\n\nRecruitment Process:\nOne interview with the IT services partner, followed by 1-3 interviews with the bank\n\nTechnical tasks are done live: please have your programming environment set up and tested beforehand.
