The project is delivered together with a large international IT services company. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.\nThe end client in this case is one of the Japanese banks.\nYou will design, develop and maintain critical C# / .NET and Oracle applications that support risk analysis and reporting for capital market products such as bonds, repos and derivatives.\nKey Details:\nRate: 100-120 PLN/h (B2B), depending on experience\n\nWork Model: Hybrid, about 40% of the month in the client's office (roughly 2 days a week), full-time\n\nLocation: Wrocław or Poznań (candidates must live in or near one of these cities)\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop and implement robust, scalable applications in C# and .NET\n\nWrite and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and triggers in Oracle\n\nDevelop and enhance risk management systems (Credit Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, Treasury risk)\n\nWork with data and logic for capital market products such as bonds, repos and derivatives\n\nTranslate requirements from risk managers and business analysts into technical specifications\n\nProvide technical support, troubleshoot issues and fix performance bottlenecks in code and database queries\n\nEnsure code quality through testing and code reviews, and maintain technical documentation\n\nWork within an Agile team with developers, QA engineers and project managers\n\nRequirements:\n5-8 years of professional software development experience\n\nStrong hands-on experience with C# and .NET (including .NET Core)\n\nProficient in complex SQL and database schemas\n\nSolid Oracle experience, including PL/SQL (stored procedures, functions, packages)\n\nProven experience in the Capital Markets domain, with direct experience in Risk (Credit, Market or Operational Risk)\n\nFamiliarity with bonds, repos, derivatives, counterparty credit risk and treasury products\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; fluent English\n\nPolish or EU citizenship, or a valid visa / work permit\n\nNice to Have:\nAgile/Scrum, Git, unit and integration testing / test automation, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI)\n\nRecruitment Process:\nYour CV must include your full first and last name and the list of companies you have worked for\n\nWe will ask for your nationality, visa / work permit validity (if applicable) and day and month of birth, needed to register you in the client's system\n\nAll presented candidates go through a one-time online identity verification with a government-issued photo ID (ID card, passport or driving licence)\n\nTechnical tasks are done live: please have your environment set up and tested beforehand.
