Technical Product Manager
Optiveum is looking for a hands-on Technical Product Manager for a long-term, engaging project. The cooperation is based on a B2B contract directly with Optiveum.
The Client You will be working for a US-based technology company that builds a live consumer platform connecting communities through video, audio, text, and photos. Alongside this, they are developing an emerging AI business that helps brands understand public conversations through transcription, media analysis, topic and entity detection, and sentiment analysis.
The Role This is a high-ownership product role with technical depth and direct user contact. You will learn directly from creators, audiences, customers, and internal teams to identify the problems worth solving. You will own the entire path from research and product decisions to clear designs, user stories, and post-launch learning. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in a dynamic startup environment, able to lead customer conversations independently, and can turn feedback into clear, actionable recommendations.
What you will do
Plan and conduct product discovery: interview creators, users, prospective customers, and internal stakeholders to test assumptions with evidence.
Synthesize conversations, usage signals, and market research into clear problem statements, user journeys, opportunities, and priorities.
Partner with design and engineering to explore solutions, sketch flows, define MVPs, and make trade-offs across user value, technical effort, risk, and speed.
Translate decisions into concise design briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical workflows that help engineers build with clarity.
Work closely with engineering on dependencies, APIs, data flows, AI/media capabilities, privacy, and reliability.
Test releases with users, measure adoption and friction, and use what you learn to improve onboarding, engagement, monetization, and retention.
Expectations
Ideally 4-7 years of relevant experience, including at least 2-3 years owning product discovery and delivery for a software product (ideally in an early-stage or fast-moving team). A technical background followed by a move into product works well too.
Technical fluency: you can discuss architecture and implementation choices with engineers, understand APIs and data flows, and write precise requirements without prescribing every solution.
Strong interviewing and synthesis skills - you are comfortable approaching users, asking useful questions, and changing your view when evidence changes.
Good product judgment and a bias for simple solutions. You know what to build now, what to test first, and what to defer.
Ability to collaborate across time zones and communicate clearly in English, both in writing and in live conversations.
Nice to have: Experience with consumer social or community products, creator tools, media workflows, subscriptions/monetization, or AI-assisted products.
What is offered
Salary: Up to 30 USD net/h.
Contract: B2B directly with Optiveum.

Type of work: 100% Remote (Candidates must be based in Poland).
Working hours: Full-time, with dependable overlap required for working sessions and alignment with the US East Coast team, as well as availability for user interviews.
