You will report to the Senior Counsel supporting both organizations and will act as a legal business partner to both organizations. You will drive innovation with our products and the partners who help take them to market. The ideal candidate is a commercially-minded, confident self-starter who can navigate the intersection of law and technology in a fast-paced environment who builds strong relationships.\nKey Responsibilities\nAct as an advisor for our product management, development, engineering, support, and marketing teams, providing strategic guidance on commercial terms, privacy issues, global regulatory compliance, privacy-by-design, data protection, and the responsible use of AI.\n\nInfluence the design and deployment of products by advising on legal, ethical, and regulatory issues in emerging technologies.\n\nConduct comprehensive legal analysis and monitor evolving regulations (such as cybersecurity and AI) to translate complex requirements into actionable, solution-oriented advice.\n\nDraft and negotiate partner agreements, including resale, referral, distribution, technology partner, cloud marketplace, and services agreements.\n\nProvide pragmatic, strategic advice that takes into account legal risk, including anti-bribery and anti-corruption, third-party risk, antitrust and competition, sanctions and export controls; promoting product adoption; and advancing business goals and initiatives.\n\nContribute to Legal’s role in developing commercial strategy for new products, partner programs, and routes to market, including public sector and government channels.\n\nAttributes for a Successful Candidate\nEducation:\nJ.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar.\n\nExperience:\n4-7 years of experience at a national law firm or in-house legal department, with a focus on channel and advisory partners and/or product counseling and technology transactions.\n\nIn-house SaaS or technology company experience is required.\n\nA technical background or prior internal audit experience is preferred to partner deeply with technical leads.\n\nTechnical Knowledge:\nExperience advising on AI applications, cloud services, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards.\n\nFamiliarity with multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and compliance frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is a plus.\n\nCommunication Skills:\nExceptional ability to translate complex technical and legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance for a range of business partners.\n\nAbility to build strong relationships and trust with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and customers.\n\nMindset:\nA creative problem solver with a sense of humor, high integrity, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.\n\nYou have strong judgment.
