only in the event of faults)\nLocation - Buona Vista Area\nContract - Minimum 1 year (renewable)\nSingapore Citizens only (CAT2A security clearance)\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for an HPC System Administrator to support and maintain Linux-based HPC infrastructure and ensure the stability, availability and performance of the compute environment.\nYou will be responsible for Linux system administration, OS lifecycle management, configuration management, system monitoring and infrastructure troubleshooting across compute and login nodes.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister and support Linux/Red Hat Linux systems and compute nodes.\nSupport and maintain HPC login and compute nodes.\nPerform OS patching, system updates and lifecycle management.\nCarry out system configuration changes and configuration management.\nMonitor system health and troubleshoot OS, system and node-related issues.\nSupport HCI and virtualisation environments.\nInvestigate hardware and OS-related incidents and coordinate with OEMs when required.\nPerform post-maintenance validation and troubleshoot failed changes.\nSupport incident recovery and planned maintenance activities.\nMaintain system configuration records and technical documentation.\nPerform approved system changes and operational activities.\nRequirements\nMinimum 4 years of relevant experience in Linux/System Administration.\nHands-on experience with Red Hat Linux administration.\nRHCSA or equivalent/higher certification.\nITIL Foundation or equivalent/higher certification.\nExperience in Linux system troubleshooting and lifecycle management.\nExperience with shell scripting.\nKnowledge of configuration management, monitoring, incident management and change management.\nExperience supporting compute nodes, login nodes, HCI or virtualisation environments will be advantageous.\nWilling to provide P1/P2 support and work after office hours/weekends when required for faults.\nSkills\nITIL Certified, Lifecycle Management, System Updates, System Health Checks, HPC, Change Management, OEMs, System Monitoring, Red Hat Linux, Troubleshoot system failures, Linux Administration, Shell Scripts, Configuration Management, System Administration, HCI, Virtualisation, Linux, Incident Management, Infrastructure Support","description_format":"text","description_chars":2373,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":4,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T17:56:20Z"}],"liveness":{"score":32,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.421,"p_room":0.75,"age_days":12,"expected_fill_days":17,"reasons":["seen:12","agency","win:late"],"computed_at":"2026-09-26T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":65772,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/opus-it-services-pte-linux-system-administrator-hpc","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/opus-it-services-pte-linux-system-administrator-hpc.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-27T02:49:25Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2597,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":2403,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-28T00:00:00Z"}}}
