We're hiring an AI Product Manager, based in Mountain View, to own the core product roadmap that shapes how millions of creators experience OpusClip every day. Your job is to keep raising the bar on what our product can do and how good it feels, at the pace of a team that ships constantly.\nThis role sits at the AI end of that roadmap. You'll own the features where model capability is the product, which means going deeper than most PMs do on what the models can actually deliver and on how we measure whether the output is any good.\nYou'll work out of our headquarters, in the same market as most of our creators and business customers. The people you build for are a coffee away rather than a time zone away, and we expect you to use that.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn a Direction, Not a Backlog: Set the strategy for your surface, commit to the metrics it should move, and be the one accountable when they don't move.\n\nOwn the AI Quality Loop: Define what \"good output\" means for a generative feature, build the evaluation that measures it, and use that eval to decide what ships and what doesn't. On an AI product, taste alone isn't enough and a benchmark alone isn't either.\n\nBe the Taste and Quality Bar: Act as the filter for what \"good\" looks like on a product used by millions. Every feature should feel considered, polished, and worth the user's trust.\n\nShip at Scale and Breadth: Run multiple feature workstreams in parallel without losing depth or craft. Know when to go deep on one feature and when to parallelize across several.\n\nCodify a Repeatable Playbook: Turn your instincts into a method for how to scope, validate, and ship AI-powered features fast, and use it to raise the bar for the broader PM team, not just your own roadmap.\n\nPartner Deeply with Engineering and Design: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with a high-caliber team to translate frontier AI capabilities (multimodal models, agents) into features creators reach for daily.\n\nGo Deep with Users: Use direct research, data, and hands-on product use to find the gap between what the product does today and what creators actually need next.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning and shipping complex, high-usage features on a consumer or prosumer product\n\nDeep, hands-on fluency with AI. You judge a model's real capability from your own testing rather than from its benchmark scores, and you can tell a model problem from a prompt problem from a product problem.\n\nComfort with evaluation. You've had to decide whether a generative output is good enough to ship when there was no obvious metric, and you built something repeatable to answer it rather than relying on vibes.\n\nGoal-oriented and ruthless about priority. You work backward from the outcome you own, not the backlog. You can say why the top three things on your roadmap are the top three, and why everything else waits.\n\nOwnership by default. You chase the loose ends nobody assigned to you, and you close the loop yourself: ship it, read the data, decide to iterate or kill it.\n\nDefensible taste. You can name what is wrong with the products you admire most, not only what is good about them.\n\nExperience building consumer-facing (B2C) products and a habit of direct user research\n\nBased in the Bay Area and able to work on-site in Mountain View; comfortable partnering daily with our Shanghai and Vancouver teams across time zones\n\nBonus If You Have\nBuilt evals for a generative feature, or worked with fine-tuned or post-trained models in production\n\nBackground taking a product from early PMF to a mature, high-scale stage\n\nExperience with short-form video, content creation, or creator tools\n\nDirect experience shipping AI/LLM-powered features\n\nAbility to prototype using code or no-code tools\n\nThis Role Probably Isn't Right For You If…\nYou're energized by 0-to-1 ambiguity but lose interest once a product has real scale and real constraints\n\nYour experience with AI is mostly reading about it. This role needs someone who has put their hands on the models.\n\nYou'd rather define strategy from a slide than get hands-on with the craft of a specific feature\n\nYou need a large team or established process to feel effective.
