The role includes technical analysis, troubleshooting, supervision of technicians, and continuous improvement of plant reliability and performance.\n\nACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nEngineering Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis\n\nAnalysing complex mechanical issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability and availability and supporting Mechanical Leader to Manages the project timeline, budget, and resource allocation.\n\nMechanical Maintenance Planning & Execution\nPlan complex activity, supervise, and execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for rotating and static equipment in accordance with OEM recommendations and plant maintenance strategies.\n\nTechnical Supervision\n\nProvide complex technical guidance and supervision to Mechanical Engineer or mechanical technicians during maintenance works, overhauls, shutdowns, and emergency repairs to ensure work quality and safety compliance\n\nCondition Monitoring & Performance Analysis\nCollaborate with other vender and mechanical maintenance team members to work on solving complex mechanical issues.\n\nSOP Development & Technical Documentation\n\nDevelop, review, and update mechanical maintenance SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation. Interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and manuals to support maintenance and modification activities.\n\nMaintenance Records & Reporting\n\nReview and prepare maintenance reports, job PTW, and failure analysis reports in CMMS/SAP systems to ensure accurate history and traceability.\n\nSpare Parts & contract management\n\nIdentify critical spare parts, prepare technical specifications tender strategies, review vendor offers, and support inventory optimization for mechanical equipment and Negotiates contracts, manages tenders, and evaluates vendor reliability.\n\nMaintenance & Shutdown Planning\nParticipate in mechanical maintenance and shutdown planning, ensuring work scope, resources, and schedules are technically sound and achievable.\n\nPolicies & Procedures and engineering standards\n\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure mechanical works are executed in compliance with health, safety, and quality Aware of engineering standards.\n\nHealth, Safety & Quality\n\nComply with all relevant health, safety and quality requirements, to guarantee employee safety and legislative compliance.\n\nContinuous Improvement & Reliability Enhancement\n\nLead Mechanical Engineer and Technician and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability improvement, cost optimization, energy efficiency, and adoption of industry best practices.\n\nFinancial\nSubport Mechanical leader to focuses on the Lifecycle Cost. They analyse whether it is cheaper to repair an asset or replace it entirely.
