Additionally, they are responsible for answering questions and assisting with problem solving with other underwriting staff.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nRespond to both internal and external QC audit findings in a timely and proficient manner.\nUnderwrite a minimum of 2 loans per day and complete outstanding conditions in a timely manner.\nReview files for accuracy and completeness according to the Underwriter Checklist, APMC guidelines and investor/agency guidelines.\nRun files through Quality Control tools. \nCommunicate effectively with processors and loan officers on status of loan files and conditions.\nAll other related duties assigned\nSupervisory\nResponsibilities: None\nQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to speak effectively with customers/vendors or other employees.\nMathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.\nReasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.\nComputer Skills: Sound working knowledge of computer and office software operations and systems.
