We are seeking candidates who live within commuting distance of Reston.\n We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated AI Database Developer to join our team. In this hands-on technical role, you will design, develop, and optimize Oracle database solutions, data pipelines, and AI-enabled data platforms for enterprise-scale mission systems. You will work with customer stakeholders, architects, data scientists, and database administrators to translate complex requirements into secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions. This role demands technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience with Oracle-based systems in high-volume environments. The position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.\nRequired Skills:\nMust possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n10 years of relevant experience in database development, data engineering, or ETL/ELT development for enterprise-scale systems.\nStrong hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing Oracle Database solutions.\nAdvanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, including stored procedures, packages, complex queries, and performance optimization.\nExperience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, including data transformation, validation, error handling, and operational monitoring.\nExperience working with geospatial data, including vector and raster formats.\nExperience working with different data formats, such as relational, spatial, JSON, and graph data.\nHands-on experience with vector embeddings, vector data types, similarity search, and RAG workflows.\nFamiliarity with MCP and its use in connecting AI applications to approved data sources and tools.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\nExperience working with containers and Kubernetes.\nProficiency in Python, shell scripting, or comparable tools for automation and data processing.\nWorking knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and secure data handling.\nAbility to collaborate with data scientists, database administrators, application developers, analysts, and customer stakeholders.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.\nDesired Skills:\nExperience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) or other federal mission systems.\nExperience with Oracle Spatial, including spatial indexing, coordinate systems, spatial queries, and raster data management.\nExperience implementing Oracle AI Vector Search.\nExperience developing RESTful APIs.\nExperience with Git, automated deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience applying database security controls, auditing, and customer-specific compliance requirements.\nRelevant Oracle certifications, such as Oracle Database or OCI architecture certifications.\nCome Join Us!\n#LI-PA4\n Disclaimer:Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.\nRange and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only\nUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $102,300 to $209,500 per annum.
