This role partners closely with subject matter experts, product teams, Customer Education, assessment vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure exams are valid, reliable, and legally defensible.\nThe ideal candidate is an exceptionally strong executor who can manage multiple exam-development workstreams simultaneously, maintain rigorous documentation and version control, identify risks early, and follow work through to closure. They bring a working depth of knowledge of professional certification programs, credential governance, exam-development practices, and the operational details required to maintain a high-quality global certification portfolio.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the end-to-end development and maintenance lifecycle for NetSuite certification exams, from intake and requirements through release and post-launch maintenance\n\nBuild and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risk registers, and delivery status across multiple concurrent exam initiatives\n\nCoordinate exam blueprints, item-development plans, review cycles, release-readiness activities, and approval workflows\n\nMaintain auditable records for exam content, credential requirements, version history, approvals, and supporting documentation\n\nMonitor product releases, program changes, candidate feedback, and exam-performance insights to identify and prioritize required exam updates\n\nEnsure certification exams and related materials accurately reflect current product functionality, role-based competencies, leading practices, and program policies\n\nDrive resolution of risks, issues, and dependencies; facilitate working sessions and stakeholder reviews to maintain progress, clear ownership, and documented decisions\n\nProvide portfolio-level reporting on delivery status, risks, milestones, and maintenance priorities, and support continuous improvement of credential governance and exam-development operations\n\nLeverage AI technologies throughout workflows to promote innovation and enhance efficiency, quality, and decision-making\n\nAbility to travel up to 10%\n\nQualifications\n3 to 5 years of experience in certification exam development and certification programs.\n\nProven success leading job task analyses, training item writers, facilitating technical reviews with subject matter experts, and participating in standard-setting exercises\n\nStrong Experience in project management, certification or assessment operations, exam development, learning and development, or education services\n\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects with interdependent timelines, varied stakeholders, and competing priorities\n\nExperience working with structured review and approval processes, including documentation, version control, and quality assurance\n\nAbility to translate business, product, or subject matter expert input into actionable project requirements and deliverables\n\nExperience developing and maintaining project plans, status reports, risk logs, meeting decisions, and stakeholder communications\n\nFamiliarity with psychometrics\n\nBachelor's degree in education, learning and development, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of professional certification programs, credentialing models, exam-development processes, assessment quality standards, or exam-maintenance practices\n\nFamiliarity with exam blueprints, item-writing workflows, subject matter expert reviews, exam forms, cut-score processes, and exam-security considerations\n\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies, gaps, outdated content, and process risks before they affect delivery\n\nDemonstrated ability to execute reliably in a fast-moving environment and manage work through ambiguity, change, and competing priorities\n\nStrong written communication skills, including the ability to create precise requirements, project documentation, meeting summaries, and executive-ready status updates\n\nStrong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority\n\nComfort working with data, scorecards, dashboards, and KPI reporting to assess delivery health and guide prioritization\n\nProficiency with item-banking tools such as Webassessor and Item Workshop\n\nProficiency with project-management and collaboration tools such as Jira, SharePoint, Wrike, and presentation tools\n\nExperience with enterprise software training programs\n\n Please see above.\n Disclaimer:Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.\nOracle uses Artificial Intelligence in our recruiting process.
