processes and operational efficiency.\nAutomation and Software Development\nDesigns and develops Python applications, reusable libraries, APIs, and automation frameworks supporting network operations and infrastructure lifecycle management.\nDevelops software solutions that automate network provisioning, validation, compliance, monitoring, testing, and operational workflows.\nAutomates production, laboratory, and large-scale operational tasks using Python as the primary development language, integrating with infrastructure pipelines, APIs, Ansible, and configuration management platforms.\nDevelops telemetry pipelines, dashboards, data collection services, and alerting mechanisms that improve network observability and operational visibility.\nSupports Infrastructure as Code (IaC), zero-touch provisioning, and software-driven network automation initiatives while continuously improving engineering tooling and operational efficiency.\nTesting and Quality Assurance\nDevelops and implements standalone test cases and test strategies.\nGuides junior engineers in testing practices.\nPerforms break-fix validation and contributes to post-event root cause analysis.\nConducts L1 network change reviews and communicates changes for change management processes.\nExecutes compliance and readiness testing.\nSupports Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) data collection and automation improvements.\nMonitoring and Reliability\nImplements monitoring, telemetry, dashboards, and alerting systems to maintain network health and service level objectives.\nDevelops Python-based operational tools that enable rapid diagnosis, troubleshooting, and remediation of network incidents.\nSupports operational incident response and root cause investigations.\nDevelops tools that improve frontline operational response to network failures.\nSupports 24x7 operational activities through rotational on-call coverage as required.\nCross-Team Collaboration and Leadership\nCollaborates with project and program managers to deliver deployment milestones.\nProvides guidance to junior engineers on routine technical issues.\nContributes to customer communications, incident documentation, and root cause analysis.\nParticipates in software architecture and technical roadmap discussions.\nPartners with internal teams to ensure adherence to networking standards.\nPerformance and Capacity Management\nAnalyzes network performance metrics including latency, throughput, and packet loss to improve network efficiency.\nUses capacity, security, and performance metrics to support infrastructure growth planning.\nSupports corporate, enterprise, and cloud networking environments while contributing to network reliability improvements.\nMinimum Job Qualifications\nEducation and/or Experience\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in network engineering, software development, cloud programming, network automation, or enterprise network operations; or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or 6+ years of relevant experience in network engineering, software development, cloud programming, network automation, or networking research and development.\nTechnical Qualifications\nStrong experience developing software in Python, including automation frameworks, reusable libraries, APIs, operational tooling, and network automation solutions.\nExperience supporting enterprise, corporate, or cloud networking environments.\nKnowledge of at least three of the following technologies: Network Automation, Firewalls, Layer 2/Layer 3 Switching, Load Balancers, VPN, OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, zero-touch provisioning, and configuration
