This role combines deep knowledge of Oracle Primavera Cloud, project and program controls, scheduling, cost management, data architecture, and systems integration. The architect works autonomously across a broad range of moderately complex initiatives and partners with Program Controls, Construction, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Technology, and other cross-functional stakeholders.\nThe successful candidate will have a major impact on the immediate team and a meaningful impact across the broader organization by improving system capabilities, standardizing program controls processes, increasing data quality, and enabling more consistent portfolio-level visibility. The role may lead projects, workstreams, standards, and improvement initiatives and is expected to mentor junior team members and provide oversight on technical execution.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement scalable Oracle Primavera Cloud solutions supporting planning, scheduling, cost management, risk, change, portfolio management, and performance reporting.\n\nTranslate business and program controls requirements into functional designs, system configurations, workflows, data structures, and integration requirements.\n\nDevelop and maintain OPC workspace, program, project, and portfolio architecture aligned with organizational standards.\n\nDefine project templates, coding structures, calendars, cost breakdown structures, reporting hierarchies, configured fields, workflows, and security models.\n\nEvaluate OPC capabilities and recommend solutions based on business requirements, system limitations, implementation effort, risk, and long-term maintainability.\n\nMaintain architecture, configuration, and operating documentation to support consistent deployment and support.\n\nProgram Controls Enablement\nPartner with Program Controls stakeholders to design OPC solutions supporting planning and scheduling; baseline and forecast management; milestone management; cost and budget control; forecasting and cash flow; change and contingency management; risk management; progress measurement; and portfolio and program reporting.\n\nEnsure OPC configurations support standardized controls processes while allowing appropriate flexibility for regional, program, and project-specific requirements.\n\nIdentify opportunities to reduce manual processes, improve data consistency, and increase automation across program controls workflows.\n\nSupport development and implementation of consistent project controls standards across projects, regions, and delivery partners.\n\nScheduling and Planning\nApply advanced scheduling knowledge to OPC solution design, including Critical Path Method scheduling, schedule logic, float, constraints, baselines, progress updates, and forecast scenarios.\n\nSupport integration and alignment between OPC and Primavera P6 where required.\n\nDevelop standards for milestone structures, schedule coding, calendars, activity structures, and schedule reporting.\n\nAssist teams in identifying schedule quality issues and improving consistency of planning and schedule data.\n\nCost and Change Management\nConfigure and support OPC capabilities for budgets, forecasts, commitments, actuals, cash flow, cost breakdown structures, and change management.\n\nPartner with Finance, Procurement, and Program Controls teams to define appropriate cost-data flows and reconciliation processes.\n\nSupport consistent approaches for tracking forecast variance, contingency, exposure, changes, and project financial performance.\n\nEnsure cost-control configurations align with portfolio and executive reporting requirements.\n\nSystems Integration and Data Architecture\nDefine integration requirements between OPC and enterprise platforms such as ERP, Primavera P6, procurement, contract management, data warehouses, reporting platforms, and other project controls systems.\n\nPartner with engineering and integration teams on API-based and batch integrations.\n\nDefine mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and exception-handling requirements.\n\nApply working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, SQL, data models, and enterprise integration concepts.\n\nSupport definition of system-of-record responsibilities and data ownership across the program controls technology ecosystem.\n\nTroubleshoot integration, configuration, and data-quality issues and coordinate resolution across functional and technical teams.\n\nReporting and Analytics\nTranslate leadership and program controls reporting requirements into scalable OPC and enterprise reporting solutions.\n\nDefine consistent metrics, calculations, thresholds, and reporting logic for schedule, cost, risk, change, and portfolio performance.\n\nSupport development of dashboards and reports for project, program, regional, and portfolio-level decision-making.\n\nPartner with analytics and data teams to ensure downstream reporting accurately reflects OPC source data and business rules.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and executive visibility.\n\nSolution Governance and Continuous Improvement\nEstablish and maintain standards for OPC configuration, security, data structures, workflows, and reporting.\n\nParticipate in governance processes for system changes, enhancements, releases, and configuration updates.\n\nAssess enhancement requests and recommend solutions based on business value, complexity, risk, and maintainability.\n\nLead small- to medium-scale innovation and process-improvement initiatives; experiment with new approaches, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions based on potential benefits and impacts.\n\nIdentify recurring issues and drive root-cause resolution rather than relying on tactical workarounds.\n\nContribute to OPC roadmap development and prioritization.\n\nStakeholder Partnership\nWork closely with Program Controls, Construction, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Technology, and related teams.\n\nFacilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, solution-design reviews, and technical discussions.\n\nProactively solicit ideas, feedback, and perspectives from diverse stakeholders when developing solutions.\n\nCommunicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and provide recommendations that support management decisions affecting the immediate team and related functions.\n\nBuild effective working relationships across Lines of Business and increasingly engage leadership, technology partners, vendors, and external delivery partners.\n\nResolve competing requirements by evaluating alternatives, impacts, dependencies, and tradeoffs.\n\nImplementation and Delivery\nLead or support OPC implementation and enhancement workstreams from requirements through production deployment.\n\nDevelop functional and technical specifications, configuration documentation, process flows, and acceptance criteria.\n\nSupport configuration, data migration, testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization.\n\nCoordinate technical and functional activities across internal teams, external vendors, and system integrators.\n\nIdentify implementation risks, dependencies, and issues and drive appropriate mitigation and resolution.\n\nEnsure delivered solutions meet agreed functional, technical, data-quality, security, and operational requirements.\n\nTeam Contribution and Mentorship\nServe as a subject matter resource for OPC and related program controls technologies.\n\nMentor junior analysts, system administrators, and team members on OPC capabilities, configuration standards, and program controls practices.\n\nProvide technical oversight and guidance on assigned tasks and workstreams.\n\nReview solution designs and configurations and provide constructive feedback.\n\nShare best practices, lessons learned, reusable configurations, and implementation patterns across the team.\n\nHelp build organizational capability and consistency in OPC architecture and administration.\n\n Required Qualifications\n12+ years of relevant experience in project controls, enterprise applications, construction technology, program management systems, solution architecture, or a related discipline.\n\nSignificant hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud in an enterprise or large capital-project environment.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of OPC configuration, administration, workspace structures, project structures, permissions, workflows, reporting, and application capabilities.\n\nStrong understanding of project and program controls disciplines including scheduling, cost management, forecasting, risk, change management, progress
