In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with teams of applied scientists and engineers to deliver high quality Generative AI models, Data Agent, Analytics solutions and services that delight our customers with the confidence that their data is safe and protected.\nCareer Level - IC4\nWe are seeking an exceptional applied scientist to work on innovative Generative AI & Data Analytics modeling research and development efforts. As a Principal Applied Scientist in Generative AI Science team, you will be architecting, building and deploying cutting-edge, high-quality AI models and solutions at scale. You will work with a team of world-class scientists in exploring new frontiers of Generative AI and collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers and product managers to deploy these globally for real-world enterprise use-cases at the largest scale. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Generative AI & Data Analytics at Oracle and across the industry. Your contributions will be pivotal in delivering our new Generative AI-powered services for large-scale enterprise customers.\n Responsibilities:\nResearch and Development: Conduct in-depth research on Generative AI and Data Analytics, with a focus on Large Language Models (architecture, models, representation, evaluation, optimizations, planning, among others), and other emerging approaches.\n\nAI Data and Agent Development: Design, develop, and train state-of-the-art LLM models and Agents that meet the highest quality standards.\n\nTeam Leadership: technical leadership and mentor junior scientists.\n\nCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Generative AI capabilities into various applications and products.\n\nInnovation: Identify new opportunities for Generative AI and Data Analytics and explore emerging technologies for Unstructured and Structured Data.\n\nStay Updated: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and advancements in this space.\n\nQualifications and Experience:\nPhD, and 2+ years relevant experience in Computer Science (focused on LLM, Agent, Analytics) or related fields;\n\nStrong publication record, including as a lead author, in top-tier journals or AI/LLM/Analytics conferences.\n\nExtensive experience in NLP, LLM, VLM, Retrieval, Enrichment and Analytics.\n\nProven track record of leading research and development projects.\n\nStrong understanding of AI/ML algorithms and architectures.\n\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nStrong leadership and communication abilities\n\n Disclaimer:Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.\nRange and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only\nUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $126,200 to $264,100 per annum.
