You will work across hardware, firmware interfaces, Linux, and cloud services to improve throughput, latency, reliability, and scale.\nThis is a hands-on role for an engineer with deep networking data path experience who can turn performance measurements into effective designs and production software. You will lead complex technical work, contribute to engineering practices, and provide direction and mentorship to other engineers.\n Required qualifications\nAt least 8 years of software engineering experience, including substantial C or C++ development on Linux.\n\nDeep hands-on experience building or optimizing high performance networking data paths, including packet processing and hardware offload.\n\nExperience developing for a DPU or SmartNIC platform, such as AMD Pensando, NVIDIA BlueField, Intel SmartNIC, or comparable hardware.\n\nWorking knowledge of storage virtualization, PCIe SR-IOV, and the NVMe and NVMe-oF protocol family.\n\nAbility to diagnose throughput and latency issues across software and hardware boundaries, and to improve performance on CPU and memory constrained systems.\n\nExperience using Go, Python, or another scripting language for development, testing, or operational tooling.\n\nAbility to lead complex work while contributing directly to implementation and debugging.\n\nA BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience with P4 programming and pipelines.\n\nExperience with SPDK, NVMe drivers, RDMA, or NVMe-oF implementations.\n\nExperience with data encryption in transit or at rest, TCG Opal, or cryptographic hardware offload.\n\nExperience building and operating data path software at cloud scale.\n\n Disclaimer:Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.\nRange and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only\nUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $114,600 to $234,600 per annum.
