We are seeking a Senior Software Development engineer to join the Raw Metal Cloud (RMC) team and help deliver reliable, scalable AI infrastructure.\nRMC builds the software platform that manages the AI infrastructure lifecycle, from hardware onboarding and inventory through networking, provisioning, validation, rack certification, and customer handoff. Our work connects physical infrastructure with distributed orchestration services, enabling GPU capacity to become ready for customer workloads efficiently and reliably.\nAs an IC3 engineer on the RMC team, you will own the features design, development, andoperate telemetry services supporting data center telemetry, device management, and hardware lifecycle automation. You will build reliable software that provides visibility into power, thermal, cooling, and device health conditions, helping teams detect issues and improve infrastructure readiness.Your work will help reduce manual intervention, improve infrastructure readiness, and increase the speed and predictability of GPU capacity delivery.\nAs an IC3 engineer, you will independently own defined service components from design through production, collaborate with senior engineers on technical decisions, and deliver secure, scalable solutions supporting data center deployments.\nWe value clear technical judgment, simple designs, ownership, and collaboration. You will have the opportunity to influence RMC’s technical direction, mentor engineers, and build software with a direct impact on OCI’s AI infrastructure.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop backend services and APIs for collecting, processing, and publishing telemetry from ILOM, Powershelf, PSU, PQM, BMS and related infrastructure devices.\n\nBuild reliable telemetry integrations with monitoring platforms and storage services, including Poseidon.\n\nDevelop device initialization, configuration, certificate provisioning, and certificate rotation workflows.\n\nImplement device health monitoring and automate device repair workflows.\n\nBuild operational tools, dashboards, and alarms to improve troubleshooting and reduce manual effort.\n\nImprove service scalability, availability, and performance through load testing, failure handling, and performance tuning.\n\nWrite automated unit and integration tests, review code, and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.\n\nTroubleshoot production issues and collaborate with infrastructure, security, hardware, and operations teams.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nDemonstrated experience developing and maintaining production software, with ownership of service components from design through deployment.\nStrong programming skills in Java, python or a comparable backend language.\nSolid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, concurrency, and distributed systems fundamentals.\nExperience developing REST APIs, integrating services, and handling asynchronous data processing.\nWorking knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data modelling, and query optimization.\nFamiliarity with Linux, networking fundamentals, TLS, and certificate-based authentication.\nExperience with automated testing, Git, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting using logs and metrics.\nAbility to translate requirements into maintainable solutions and communicate effectively across global teams.\nExperience designing for fault tolerance, concurrency, state management, and recovery in distributed environments.\nDemonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives from requirements and architecture through production delivery.\nStrong troubleshooting and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and across organizational boundaries.\nA record of technical ownership, sound engineering judgment, and mentoring other engineers.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with OCI or another cloud platform, object storage, and infrastructure automation.\nFamiliarity with telemetry pipelines, monitoring systems, time-series data, and alerting.\nExperience with hardware management interfaces or protocols such as ILOM, Redfish, gNMI, or MQTT.\nKnowledge of PKI, mutual TLS, and certificate lifecycle management.\nExperience building React and TypeScript interfaces for operational tools.\nExposure to data center power systems, cooling infrastructure, or hardware repair automation.","description_format":"text","description_chars":4595,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":true},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["CRM
