act/react to these events at scale.\n Responsibilities\nAs a manager of the OHAI platform engineering team, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, distributed systems, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications\nDrive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, reliable software services and frameworks.\nEstablish engineering best practices and promote a culture of quality, accountability, and operational excellence.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with product managers, architects, cloud operations, and security teams to define and execute technical strategy.\nBalance speed, quality, and innovation through iterative, incremental delivery practices.\nProvide technical leadership and strategic guidance on architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability.\nManage project priorities, resource planning, execution timelines, and stakeholder communication.\nBuild an inclusive, high-performing engineering culture focused on continuous learning and career growth.\nDrive operational excellence by proactively identifying risks, improving processes, and ensuring system reliability at scale.\nQualifications:\nBS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, and 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; or equivalent practical experience.\n10+ years of engineering management experience.\nExperience designing or integrating AI/ML-powered features into production systems.\nStrong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.\nStrong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies.\nProven ability to define and execute technical strategy for a team, aligning engineering efforts with product goals and organizational priorities.\nExperience leading teams through complex technical and organizational challenges, including cross-team collaboration and dependency management.\nStrong technical foundation, with the ability to guide architectural decisions, evaluate system tradeoffs, and maintain high standards of software quality.\nProven track record of building and scaling
