This role serves as a key technical liaison between Oracle engineering teams and manufacturing suppliers throughout the product lifecycle.\nIdeal candidates come from server supply chain, electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, datacenter hardware, supplier quality, or NPI engineering environments.\n Key Responsibilities\nNew Product Introduction:\nDefine mass-production test approaches for an assigned product during NPI.\nMonitor External Manufacturer (EM) execution during engineering builds and adherence to Oracle production, quality, and security standards.\n\nAnalyze product and supply-chain information, including Linux-accessible connection, configuration, and test data.\n\nSupport local production, triage issues, collect evidence, and coordinate work with external-manufacturer and remote PE partners.\n\nExecute supplier/component assessments, NPI tasks, audits, RCA/CAPA activities, and continuous-improvement work.\n\nQualify Components:\nPartners with Supplier Quality, Supply Chain Security, and Test Engineering teams to perform qualification of alternate components ensuring components meet functional and performance requirements.\nExternal Manufacturer Engagement:\nDefines and continuously improves the assembly and test process for suppliers throughout the product lifecycle.\nActs as a technical liaison between EM and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.\nFailure Analysis:\nParticipates in quality excursions by supporting root cause analyses (RCA) and by recommending corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) within the supply chain.\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nCollaborates with Design, Operations, Quality, and Procurement teams to ensure alignment of product manufacturing strategies with product development goals.\nContributes to cross-functional projects aimed at improving product quality, reducing costs, and enhancing supply chain performance.\nProvides technical support during design changes, process optimizations, and supply chain transitions.\nAnalyzes and course corrects complex problems before escalating hurdles to management.\nCore Responsibilities\nPlanning & Execution:\n-Manages and coordinates moderately complex tasks, monitoring timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion and adherence to requirements for a moderately-sized project or initiative.
