The team works across business functions to improve reporting consistency, establish reliable metrics, and provide leaders with the information needed to make informed operational decisions.\nIn this role, you will combine hands-on data analysis with cross-functional program management to drive recurring reporting and analytical initiatives. You will partner with business stakeholders and data owners to translate requirements into analytical solutions, validate metrics, develop dashboards, and deliver clear, actionable insights.\nYou will also help scale established reporting and analytics processes by developing reusable datasets, standardizing metrics, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting reliability.\nWhy OCI?\nOracle Cloud Infrastructure delivers cloud technologies and services that support businesses operating at scale.\nWithin OCI Business Operations Analytics & Insights, you will contribute to an established reporting and analytics workstream while helping develop reusable datasets, dashboards, and processes.\nThis role offers an opportunity to combine technical problem-solving with business impact, improve reporting consistency, and help stakeholders make better-informed decisions.\n Key Responsibilities\nManage recurring reporting and analytics initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.\nPartner with business stakeholders to clarify analytical requests, define requirements, and establish measurable outcomes.\nWrite and optimize SQL queries to extract, join, reconcile, and validate data from multiple sources.\nUse Python or R to clean, transform, and analyze complex datasets, identifying trends, inconsistencies, and actionable insights.\nDefine and document business metrics, calculation logic, data definitions, and reporting assumptions to improve consistency across reporting.\nPerform data quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and reliability.\nDevelop and maintain reusable datasets, dashboards, visualizations, and recurring reports that communicate operational performance.\nTranslate analytical findings into concise written updates, presentations, and actionable insights that help business leaders understand operational trends and make informed decisions.\nCoordinate with data owners and cross-functional partners to resolve data discrepancies, manage reporting dependencies, and deliver accurate analytical outputs.\nIdentify opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate recurring analytics and reporting processes, reducing manual effort and improving scalability.\nMaintain clear documentation and track analytical deliverables through stakeholder review and completion.\nMinimum Qualifications\n5+ years of professional experience in business analytics, data analysis, business operations, program management, or a related field, including experience delivering analytical or reporting initiatives.\nExperience managing analytics, business reporting, or data-driven projects involving multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and dependencies.\nStrong hands-on SQL skills, including extracting, joining, transforming, and validating complex datasets.\nPractical experience using Python or R for data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis.\nExperience defining business metrics, documenting calculation logic, and performing data quality validation.\nAbility to translate ambiguous business requests into clear analytical requirements and actionable deliverables.\nStrong organizational and program management skills, with the ability to coordinate parallel workstreams and follow through on commitments.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical findings to nontechnical audiences.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience developing dashboards and reports using business intelligence or data visualization tools.\nFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure operations, capacity planning, utilization metrics, or financial operating metrics.\nExperience automating recurring data preparation, analysis, or reporting workflows.\nWorking knowledge of version control, documentation standards, and reproducible analytical practices.\nExperience preparing executive-ready presentations, charts, and written business summaries.\nExperience improving existing reporting processes, standardizing metrics, or developing reusable analytical datasets.\nDisclaimer:Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.\nRange and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only\nUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $70,500 to $166,100 per annum.
