Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Design Evaluation:\n-Evaluates existing security architectures to identify and prioritize security design issues and weaknesses, with minimal guidance.\n-Provides comprehensive technical advice to support the design and development of secure architectures.\n-Identifies gaps and weaknesses in proposed designs of new projects and features and develops moderately complex compensating controls.\n-Participates in architecture discussions and security assessments related to security design review process and threat modeling.\nSecurity Solutions Design:\n-Designs, supports, and/or assesses reviews of moderately complex security solutions for product services and infrastructure both on-premise and cloud.\n-Supports the design of systems for implementing security controls and monitoring the security of networks, systems, and applications, supporting functional goals within the team.\n-Works closely with internal teams (e.g., developers, Product Management, IT, Operations) to develop products that provide comprehensive security insights.\nSecurity Solutions Research:\n-Conducts basic security research regarding threats, investigates standard issues, and oversees upgrades on security platforms, ensuring the highest levels of system integrity and protection.\n-Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) to refine functional requirements in security solutions.\nSecurity Standards and Practice:\n-Provides guidance on privacy requirements.\n-Incorporates regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and threat models to tune implementations and standards for a moderately complex application landscape.\n-Contributes to the development and updating of existing security standards and programming practices for internal service development and service security operational processes.\n-Contributes to the review of security operations guides for hand-off to the support team for post-launch support.\nIdentity and Access Management:\n-Assists with and architects the generation of Managed Identity and Access Management services and pre-sales activities, providing guidance for resolution of customer-reported issues.\nCore Responsibilities\nPlanning & Execution:\n-Independently manages work, monitoring timelines and deliverables to ensure projects or initiatives stay on track and meet requirements.
