This team comprises experienced project managers who work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of complex data center construction and network projects. They bring a wealth of expertise in project management, technical design, and on-site construction, ensuring that our data centers meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability. This team plays a crucial role in supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's data needs and driving our growth and success.\nJob Summary\nStrategically, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive plans that optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence in delivery. You will engage with key stakeholders, manage high-stakes vendor relationships, and navigate the complexities of regulatory compliance. Your ability to anticipate and mitigate risks to datacenter delivery will be crucial in maintaining project timelines and budgets. This is a high- impact role that will lead, drive, and ensure the successful management and delivery of critical initiatives on our strategic roadmap.\nThe role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across Design, Engineering and Operations. Your ability to anticipate and mitigate risks will be crucial in maintaining project timelines and budgets. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to own end-to-end delivery of network and data center capacity across concurrent builds.\nThis role will oversee data center focused projects and initiatives. Managing these construction projects well is key to the overall success of customer deliveries. You will engage directly with our Colo and LV partners' leadership and project management teams, driving accountability and improvements to meet our customers' needs. You will also engage with internal teams to make sure we deliver the proper design and process documentation to the Colo, execute on our ISP circuit contracts, and update all internal tracking tools for handover to our operations teams at the end of the project.\n Key Responsibilities Include:\nBeing the end-to-end TPM leader in charge of the program across multiple sites up to 1GW of capacity, coordinating with multiple principal TPM from shaping the approach, prioritizing the resources and achieving the desired outcomes through delivery. \nProject Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies for data center construction and network build projects to align with organizational goals. \nPartner with the design team to ensure design and construction are fully coordinated in advance of contracting. \nPartner with Construction team to ensure collaboration and seem less handoff\nProject Management: Oversee all phases of complex data center construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. \nTenant Fit Out and LV Integration: Work closely throughout design, construction, commissioning and LV fit out to fully coordinate and integrate the separate scopes of tenant fit out projects with the overall project scope.\nVendor Management: Select, negotiate, and manage external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success. \nBudget Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial constraints. \nRisk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs. \nStakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns. \nQuality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of construction and operational efficiency. \nRegular project visits to ensure schedule, coordination, and quality will be required throughout the life of the project on an as needed basis.\nRequired Skills\nProject management experience in delivery mission critical Data Centre Construction, Cabling, Compute, Networking, AI infrastructure project.\nAt least 5 years of Program/Portfolio management experience.\nPMP/ITIL v3 or equivalent certification\nProblem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges in a fast-paced construction environment. \nStrategic Planning: Expertise in developing and implementing long-term strategies and establishing program-level requirements for construction projects. \nTechnical Knowledge: Deep understanding of data center design, construction, and operational requirements, with a focus on cutting-edge technologies and sustainability. \nProject Management: Proven expertise in managing large-scale data center construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery including advanced project scheduling and tracking.\nLeadership: Demonstrated ability to lead under pressure, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals.\nBudget Management: Proficiency in creating, managing, and optimizing project budgets to ensure cost-effective use of resources. \nRisk Management: Ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs. \nVendor Management: Extensive experience in selecting, negotiating, and managing contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers. \nCareer Level -
