Most importantly, you should be a team player, someone who is eager to learn, and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team succeed.\nRequired Experience\nBS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent\n10+ years of experience in software design and development, building and operating large scale distributed systems\nProven ability to architect and deliver complex services from concept to production, including defining system interactions, APIs, and scalability models\nSolid understanding of distributed storage systems, including relational and NoSQL databases, and large-scale data persistence\nExperienced in in coming up with architecture and design of highly available & large-scale distributed services and launching them into production.\nExperience driving architecture and security reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers through the entire launch process\nStrong knowledge of microservices, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.\nSolid understanding of relational databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence\nStrong coding skills in Java or OO language\nExcellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to all audiences.\nStrong knowledge of Linux/Unix fundamentals is highly desirable\nKnowledge and working experience in cryptography is highly desirable.\n As a core member of our engineering group, you will:\nLead the architecture, design, and development of next-generation security services, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance\n\nProvide leadership and expertise in building high quality security components, products and solutions that meet stringent enterprise software requirements.\n\nProvide technical guidance for projects in multiple security areas; in particular data encryption at rest and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).\n\nDesign and build highly scalable, low-latency distributed systems, ensuring service performance meets stringent latency and availability requirements\n\nDefine specifications for new projects, and lead the architecture, design, implementation according to the specifications, drive design and security reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers through the entire launch process.\n\nFacilitate high quality integrations with Oracle products and Oracle business units (Database, Fusion Middleware).
