The successful candidate will participate in the entire lifecycle of a product ranging from architecture through testing and\nproduction rollout.\n\nResponsibilities: \nBe part of a team of phenomenal engineers building a next-gen database platform using the latest open-source technologies.\nDesign and implement differentiated production-ready features in a fast-paced environment with a focus on scalability, performance, geo-distribution, and availability.\nRoll out features at the pace of business changes and requirements.\nPassion to bring out innovative ideas and try out new solutions, while being open-minded to feedback from the team.\nRelentless focus on quality and automation.\n\nRequirements: \nMore than 5 years of experience developing/testing/deploying secure, production-quality software products.\nExpert-level programming (C++/Java) is required with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.\nPrior experience building distributed systems at internet scale.\nDeep expertise in PostgreSQL internals: storage/buffer manager, WAL, MVCC, lock manager, query planner/executor.
