This role owns end-to-end program execution, from initial product requirements and engineering development through hardware qualification, manufacturing readiness, production ramp, and market launch.\nYou will lead integrated cross-functional product teams spanning electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering, firmware, operating systems, quality assurance, manufacturing, supply management, and sourcing. Working closely with engineering and OCI service teams, you will drive the delivery of test hardware and initial production infrastructure required to support OCI data centers and regional deployments.\nCombining strong hardware systems knowledge with technical program leadership, you will translate product requirements into executable plans, resolve complex engineering dependencies, and drive alignment across teams to meet schedule, quality, cost, and deployment commitments. Success in this role requires technical judgment, proactive risk management, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.\n Technical Program Leadership & Execution\nOwn integrated product plans covering scope, milestones, resources, build quantities, budgets, technical dependencies, risks, and launch criteria.\nPartner with product management and OCI service and technical program management teams to align product roadmaps, customer requirements, security expectations, and regional deployment needs.\nMaintain integrated schedules and dependency plans, establish deliverables and acceptance criteria with functional owners, identify gaps early, and drive corrective actions through closure.\nLead cross-functional product reviews, establishing clear ownership, decisions, action items, and delivery commitments.\nCommunicate technical trade-offs, forecast dates, cost exposure, quality readiness, and recovery plans to engineering teams and executive stakeholders.\nPrepare leadership briefings, including SVP-level reviews when required, and escalate unresolved decisions with supporting analysis, options, and recommendations.\nCross-Functional Hardware Engineering & Integration\nCoordinate electrical engineering activities, including platform and board design milestones, power and interface requirements, GPU and CPU integration, system bring-up, electrical validation, and engineering change dependencies.\nAlign mechanical engineering activities involving chassis and rack integration, assembly, packaging, manufacturing requirements, mechanical verification, and resolution of fit or deployment issues.\nIntegrate BIOS, Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), and device firmware milestones with hardware builds and validation, tracking compatibility, management functionality, security requirements, update readiness, and release dependencies.\nCoordinate operating system enablement, drivers, software compatibility, installation, and deployment readiness with hardware and firmware plans, driving resolution of cross-stack defects with engineering owners.\nPartner with quality assurance teams to coordinate requirements-based test coverage, qualification, reliability, regression testing, defect disposition, and release evidence.\nDiagnose integration and delivery challenges across engineering disciplines, evaluating alternatives based on performance, reliability, manufacturability, supply availability, cost, and schedule.\nManufacturing, Supply Chain & Product Launch\nAlign prototype, qualification, pilot, and production builds with factory capacity, tooling, test equipment, work instructions, yield targets, and manufacturing ramp plans.\nPartner with supply management teams to align material demand, bill of materials (BOM) availability, allocations, and supplier delivery commitments with engineering builds and launch quantities.\nDrive material shortage mitigation and qualified alternative plans in collaboration with supply management and engineering owners.\nCoordinate supplier selection milestones, sourcing readiness, quotation inputs, cost targets, commercial dependencies, and supplier commitments, routing purchasing and contract approvals through authorized owners.\nCollaborate with silicon suppliers, Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), Joint Design Manufacturers (JDMs), and external manufacturing partners to align product development and delivery commitments.\nLead readiness reviews from development through production release, partnering with Supply Chain to present qualification results, open issues, material and factory readiness, firmware and software release status, and deployment evidence.\nEnsure functional owners document acceptance results, resolve or formally disposition launch-blocking issues, obtain required functional approvals, and document residual risks and accountable owners.\nCoordinate launch hardware delivery to OCI data centers and support manufacturing handoff to sustaining operations.\nStakeholder Leadership, Risk Management & Continuous Improvement\nLead cross-functional execution without direct reporting authority, building relationships across engineering organizations, lines of business, and external partners.\nApply independent technical judgment to moderately complex assignments, influencing decisions and driving alignment across competing priorities.\nProvide evidence-based recommendations to management, escalating decisions beyond delegated authority when appropriate.\nDrive improvements in hardware readiness reviews, validation processes, build execution, and engineering change control.\nSeek diverse perspectives, mentor junior engineers and program managers, and provide task oversight as appropriate.\nCoordinate vendors, contractors, and temporary staff as required.\nDeliver significant impact on team results while contributing to broader organizational objectives.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\n12+ years of relevant experience in hardware engineering, technical program management, product development, or related disciplines, assessed with applicable education and experience equivalencies under Oracle's Career Level Guide.\nWithin this background, 5+ years managing technical programs spanning multiple teams and organizations from conception through delivery. These experience periods are not additive.\nBachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with relevant education and experience assessed under Oracle's equivalency guidance.\nAdvanced knowledge of hardware development and New Product Introduction (NPI) systems and processes, with broad knowledge of GPU or CPU platforms as a specialist area.\nDemonstrated experience leading hardware development, qualification, or production introduction and working with external manufacturers and supply chain partners.\nTechnical fluency across electrical, mechanical, thermal, firmware, operating systems, and quality assurance workstreams, including the ability to challenge assumptions and investigate system integration issues using test data, vendor tools, and engineering logs.\nExperience with integrated program planning, critical-path and dependency management, build readiness, risk mitigation, cost and budget tracking, and controlled change management.\nDemonstrated judgment, analytical problem-solving, negotiation, and influence across internal teams and supplier organizations, supported by clear written and verbal communication.\nAbility to partner with product management on roadmap and launch commitments and ensure product readiness meets security, quality, and deployment requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nDirect experience working with NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel GPU and CPU platforms.\nExperience supporting manufacturing ramp and supply readiness.\nExperience with hardware adaptation for international deployment.\nExperience delivering servers, racks, or related infrastructure into data center environments.\nMBA or additional advanced business education.\nLocation: Santa Clara, CA\n Disclaimer:Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.\nRange and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only\nUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $90,100 to $209,500 per annum.
