Our Geneva team is specialized in Data & AI and Customer Experience, supporting clients in their digital transformation through pragmatic, secure and scalable solutions.\nTo support a strategic Cloud Data Platform transformation program for one of our clients in the luxury industry, we are looking for a senior Cloud Data Expert Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in data engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices and enterprise platform support.\nIn this role, you will contribute to the operation, industrialization and continuous improvement of an enterprise-wide Cloud Data Platform. You will work closely with data, architecture, infrastructure, security, integration, BI and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions, improve platform quality and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.\nYour key areas of responsibility as Cloud Data Expert Consultant:\nDevelop, review, troubleshoot and optimize Python and PySpark workloads for enterprise data use cases.\n\nMaintain and improve Terraform modules supporting cloud data infrastructure.\n\nMaintain, troubleshoot and enhance CI/CD pipelines used for data and infrastructure delivery.\n\nSupport the operation of a large enterprise-wide data platform in production, including incident analysis, root-cause investigation and reliability improvements.\n\nDesign, configure and troubleshoot cloud and hybrid networking components, including VNETs, firewalls, cloud networking resources and on-premises connectivity.\n\nWork directly with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, document needs and translate them into reliable, accepted data solutions.\n\nCollaborate with architecture, security, infrastructure, integration, BI and platform teams to ensure compliant and maintainable solutions.\n\nContribute to dbt transformations, Databricks workloads and Kubernetes-based environments where relevant.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, runbooks and operational handover material.\n\nSupport knowledge transfer and upskilling of internal data teams, especially teams with a strong SQL background.\n\nAs an ideal candidate you have:\n5+ yrs hands-on experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms or enterprise data platform operations.\n\nIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Python and PySpark.\n\nDemonstrated experience with Terraform, including maintenance of existing modules and controlled enhancements.\n\nExperience maintaining, troubleshooting and improving CI/CD pipelines.\n\nProven experience supporting business-critical enterprise data platforms in production.\n\nPractical experience with cloud and on-premises networking, including VNETs, firewalls, cloud networking resources and command-line diagnostic tools.\n\nAbility to engage with business stakeholders, clarify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\n\nA structured engineering mindset, with attention to code quality, testing, documentation, traceability and operational readiness.\n\nStrong collaboration skills and the ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments.\n\nFluent communication skills in English and French.\n\nIt is not a requirement, but other preferred qualifications would be:\nExperience with dbt and modern data transformation practices.\n\nExperience with Databricks and lakehouse-based data workloads.\n\nExposure to Kubernetes-based workloads or platform support.\n\nExperience working with Power BI teams or supporting BI consumption patterns.\n\nExperience in highly regulated, security-conscious or luxury industry environments.\n\nAbility to coach, train and support the upskilling of data teams.\n\nWhat we offer you:\nA community of experts - as Digital Natives, we put innovation at the heart of our expertise.\n\nWe may work with tomorrow’s technology, but at our core we are a people-oriented organization.\n\nHybrid ways of working with access to our modern & collaborative office in Geneva.\n\nAn open and inclusive culture, that enables us to reach our full potential.\n\nRead more about the benefits we offer here.\n\nAbout Orange Business:\nOrange Business is the Orange Group entity dedicated to businesses and organizations.
